Edge writes: "Eleven million people are registered to play World of Warcraft globally. Its gameplay is solid. Its community is enormous. Its customer service is unmatched. And it was the key driver in the biggest merger the games industry has ever seen. It's the inarguable king of MMORPGs, particularly in the West, and rules the ubiquitous PC platform.
So why are people constantly looking for the first opportunity to ditch this game?"
World of Warcraft developers discuss the game's decades-long lifepsan and why the game continues to be the biggest MMO ever.

Mounts are perhaps WoW's most coveted collectibles, displaying feats of strength or perseverance for all to see.
When things become too popular, they lose some of their luster.
For example, back in the day when anime was niche, it felt cool because it was as if you were one of the few people that knew about this hot new thing. Now anime is so mainstream almost every channel has some sort of anime. Not to mention you can see it almost any time in a day ranging from 12am to 12am (yes I said am to am). So now it doesn't seem all that cool to be in the know with anime as it once was.
WoW might be a victim of it's own popularity. As a result, everyone is trying to hunt down the next "big thing" to feel "elite" once again. And then once whatever they find gets popular, they'll once again move on.
But this is just my opinion
Because they want the chance of touching a real boob?
Sorry but it is. They need to make MMORPGS that are fun.
ehh cause grinding aint fun
Seriously. Those of us who play WoW aren't just looking for the first excuse to jump ship, but we do want something better. We always want something better, just like damn near every gamer wants.
WoW is fine, otherwise AoC would have actually taken off ;)
