Seeing this and thinking Front Mission.

A 1st/3rd person survival game in a FM type setting?

naruga2561d ago (Edited 2561d ago )

i hope not ....i dont want so much potential in concept be wasted in just strategy games ...i hope it is TPS like MGS but wiht mechs included

Godmars2902561d ago

Expecting Front Mission Evolved meets Metal Gear-like stealth action.

Would rather see FM crossed with XCOM in a destructible environment setting.

It's coming in 2018, yet we a nearing the end of 2017 and all we get is a lame teaser? No gameplay... hm. Yeah i'll wait to see this before I get excited.

Nyxus2561d ago (Edited 2561d ago )

It's been confirmed to be a survival-action shooter.

Only thing is how many times, or if at all, you'll be allowed to pilot a mech.

As a survival title I expect it'll be more staged levels than open world.

Shinji Hashimoto and Yoji Shinkawa working on the same game? That is really interesting.

I hope its a 3rd person game.

UCForce2561d ago

I'm looking forward to it.

"Not much was announced about the game besides the fact that it’s produced by Shinji Hashimoto (director of Final Fantasy XIV)."

That is such wrong misinformation of journalism on this author's part.

Naoki Yoshida is the actual director of Final Fantasy XIV.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/...

Shinji Hashimoto should be best known as the co-creator of Kingdom Hearts. He's the executive that was in that elevator with that Disney executive and pitched the idea of a crossover between their two companies after previously discussing the idea of a 3D character based game with Hironobu Sakaguchi & later Tetsuya Nomura.

Hashimoto also generally produces a lot of Square Enix titles, so he can add Left Alive to that long list.

Is that the guy who royally screwed the first version of FF14, or the one who fixed it?

Mikefizzled2561d ago (Edited 2561d ago )

The original game was designed and directed by Nobuaki Komoto, the director of 9 and 11. Produced by Hiromichi Tanaka. Sounds like Square higher ups were also pushing graphical prescense which lead to the game eventually imploding. Naoki Yoshida picked up the pieces and saved it.

The real take away is the producer of every mainline Armored Core game, Toshifumi Nabeshima, is directing it.

Generation Zero is way better after updates. I completely agree it was broken/buggy at launch. As of today. It's my most played game in the last month. Smooth controls, terrifying stealth moments, and a massive world to explore make it worth trying in 2020.

Can't really argue with most of the games but I'm not too sure about Mario Kart mobile being on here, as far as I'm aware it's really popular. I've never played it to be fair

Red Dead 2 should be on here as well. The game literally did not work or launch for some people. Rockstar launcher crashes. Game still randomly crashes. Mouse cursor glitches. One of the worst PC ports in recent years. you would think a big budget game like rdr2 R* would give a damn lazy port ffs

MadLad1730d ago

Which is sad, being their ports for Max Payne 3 and GTAV were freaking fantastic.

PCgamer981730d ago

Since the latest update the game runs great on me and I don't even have a beefy system, it also barely crashes. Only issue I had with it is the fps would drop randomly for a few seconds which I think was an issue with vulkan, but all in all I'm really enjoying the steam version.
