The Japanese physical video game market was valued at ¥29.8bn in August, up 82.5 per cent year-on-year, according to the latest figures from Famitsu. This is down to a huge 206.8 per cent spike in hardware sales, prompted mainly by the Nintendo Switch, as well as a 21.3 per cent rise in software sales. As a result, this is the third consecutive month of year-on-year growth for Japan's gaming market.
Dragon Quest XI S has sold over 8.5 million units worldwide, becoming the best-selling game in the franchise.
When I played this game I was in disbelief that I had somehow not played this franchise. I absolutely adored this game, and have since played two other entries. Been saving the two on 3ds. Next entry is easily a day one purchase.
Good. Prefer 4-7 with DS & PS1 graphic though, modest yet stimulating imagination.
Only DQ game i've ever played and one of the best games I've ever played , such a great experience . I wonder if the original ps4 release was included in these sales
Development builds of several titles for the Nintendo Switch, including Splatoon 2 and Project Harmony, have reportedly been leaked.
o matter what the reasoning is behind Splatoon 3’s lack of content and substance in the first half of its paid expansion, Wave 1: Inkopolis is certainly not worth any fan’s money and should have always been viewed as a small bonus to tide fans off from what’s still to come.
Physical is best imo. Nothing like having a catalogue of games you can grasp and resell if you have to
Thank you Dragon Quest
Digital is convenient and all but ill buy physical for as long as i can.. There's no telling if you want to re download something and they removed it from the store so your money is wasted..
I usedto think having physical was best but ive gotten lazy in my old age, lol, and i cant go past a bargain on the ps store.
