After the runaway success of Nintendo’s NES Classic console in 2016 and the growing hype surrounding the upcoming (and hard to pre-order) SNES Classic, the Shacknews staff thought about other consoles that could use a modern update in a smaller form factor. Obviously, the Dreamcast is the greatest console of all time, so it was a natural choice. With the easy part out of the way, the real struggle comes down to selecting which games should be included with a hypothetical Sega Dreamcast Classic.
Xbox's handheld ambitions continue unabated, but the focus is shifting towards improving Windows 11 for third-party handhelds — for now. The Xbox Series X 'Melrose' successor is safe, with development continuing at full pace.
Funny to see the alt already damage controlling and having a meltdown with multiple accounts in the comments already.

A hypothetical mini Dreamcast wouldn't even store 20 games
One of the best gaming console ever indeed!
I'd want a mini-Saturn before I'd get a mini-Dreamcast, I'd get them both, but release the Saturn first even if the DC is more recognized by gamers. But I can see the DC selling more and then perhaps generating interest for the Saturn Mini. I'll take either one lol Sega just won't do it. We have yet to see what they'll do with the survey on old IPs they sent out.
