Tripled the switch launch numbers, yeah Nintendo's domination of the Japanese market is going smooth
Xbox boss Phil Spencer explains that the new ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X is Microsoft's best collaboration between gaming and Windows teams.
Next Level Racing just revealed an officially licensed flight simulation cockpit for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020.
"Although the platforms are very different on the face of it, Nintendo will be hoping to position Switch as a 'second console' to fans of PS4, Xbox One and PC."
Nintendo has been positioning their consoles as secondary platforms for more than a decade now. This brings with it pros and cons.
"The number of first-party games from Microsoft appears to be on the decline. Over the last 9 months, it has launched just Halo Wars 2 (that's as many games as Nintendo has built for Wii U this year.)"
Sick burn brah.
"Whether Switch competes or not, Xbox One X seems to have started strongly - at least in terms of early pre-orders."
Preorders numbers aren't always indicative of how successful a product will be in the long term. Let's not forget how Quantum Break had high enough preorders to far exceed Microsoft's expectations.

Yet its sales proved to be a different story in the end.

I don't expect Xbox One X to do as horribly, but I don't expect it to dramatically change Microsoft's positioning in the console space either.
Without enough exclusive games that interest me, it's just not enticing enough for me, even if I could be playing slightly better looking multiplatform games.
