There are tons of challenging tracks in the NASCAR circuit. Whether that's in the real deal or the gaming world. This goes over the 3 hardest tracks that are out there in NASCAR. (Only considers Monster Energy NASCAR tracks, not tracks in the other NASCAR series that are run).
NASCAR Heat 2 brings the fast-paced stock car racing to consoles once again. Though it holds a lot of comparisons to its predecessor NASCAR Heat Evolution, developers Monster Games have Continue Reading »
Amazon strikes again, with digital deals on hit titles. They just updated their video game section with new digital deals on PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Right now, they're offering up to 81% off on several Sony and Xbox consoles titles. The details are shown below:
Neil writes "For many, NASCAR Heat Evolution was initially overpriced. For others, the visuals, mechanics and slightly tired style was enough to put them off. But for petrolheads who can't get enough of the rubbing and racing it brings, it was a godsend. Now though, there's another DLC pack available for Heat Evolution, and this one brings in a ton of 2017 action - albeit for even more cash!"
The amount of paid content is on par with the Forza Motorsport games, shame it's not as good
Truthfully, I think this is the way a game at DLC should be made. Instead of coming out with a new game every year, why not just update the one that's already there and make it better with more features, cars, tracks and you can even upgrade the textures and overall graphics if you want. I'm not a NASCAR fan and I really don't buy this game, but I appreciate them making the following year's game into a patch instead of a full fledged retail release.
Every sports game should be made and updated/ upgraded this way. Madden would really benefit from something like this. Because, let's face it… 90% of the time, all they are doing is upgrading the game that is already there anyways. So why repackage and redistribute it, when they could charge $30 via digital download and forgo retail(and the middlemans cut) altogether. For those without high speed internet or bandwidth caps, they could go to their local Gamestop and have them put it on an external harddrive or SD card.
