The 6 Remaining Exclusives Coming to PS4 in 2017

From now to the end of the year Sony has a number of exclusive titles slated to launch on PS4. Here are the six that have been confirmed.

Plus... Soooo much came out this year on PS4 its just insane. Gotta finish all the backlog games I purchased before the Holiday AAA 3rd party madness happens. Cuz def pickup SWBF2. COD WWII, Madden, GTSport, Shadow of War. Then we get hit in the start of 2018 with more PS4 exclusives. By default or on purpose, Sony is smart to release their exclusives all year long except the holiday season with 3rd party games flooding the Holiday season. Dang!

I'm happier with the Xbox list. Don't get me wrong, PS as a few good looking games in the distant future, but nothing for the rest of this year appeals to me on PS4. I wanna play Days Gone and God of War, but those aren't this year. To each their own. In fact, as it works out, there are more X1 games I'm excited about the rest of this year than on any console period. I'm excited about 3 of the remaining exclusives this year...whereas for the foreseeable future just Days Gone/GoW on PS4 and Mario Odyssey and Metroid on Switch. ...then next year X1 has even more for me to be excited about...esp when you start adding the list of "console exclusives". One of my most anticipated is actually a PC game coming to Console that is flying under the radar...Black Desert. I think I'm REALLY gonna like that game.

I only bring this up because I keep hearing how Xbox has no games/exclusives...and that seems misleading to me and it doesn't add up. People may be able to copy and paste a list and say "look PS has more exclusives" ...but what does that matter if those games don't appeal to me? If Xbox has more games I actually want to play, that is WAY more important to me.

Other than that, to be honest...like 90% of gaming is Multiplat games anyway....and all consoles are in for some great games coming up.

Taste is to each individual, yes... but a lot of gamers like consistency and choices.

With Xbox, what you have to look forward to is exactly what they have, although sales often always goes against what every Xbox owner is excited for in the comment sections where as with Sony, there are many options for all sorts of types of players to be excited for.
The PS4 games you listed will be out in 7/8 months ie sonys first quarter of 2018 with another huge list of indies and major AAA games to come. Last of us 2, Detroit become human, death stranding, wild, etc etc...

But, to each their own.

TBH, with Playstation I end up buying 1 or 2 games almost every month, it's hard to restrain myself. Nintendo is next with the most games I want. If I owned an Xone, I'd hardly buy anything and most of the people I end up talking to don't really discuss anything on it.

and? Spider man, god of war, Detroit, wild are all coming next year on top of many other games. Mixes of new ip's, sequels, indies... etc.
The trend that this sets is confidence that Sony is doing what it takes to be a gaming business.
Can you list what makes Microsoft a gaming business? What sets them apart to a consumer?
There are so many games, that delays, long projects, etc are only reasons to invest while the rest of the games are releasing.
You know, like Microsoft does to fluff up their list at the beginning of this gen... except for those he difference is you are still waiting for some of those games. It has been over 7 years since Microsoft made a new AAA ip and have shown off nothing new... so this lowers confidence to a consumer.

So two indies, an yearly release game is far more interesting to you. Well I'll give you PUBG because of all the hype. Even I am curious to check it out, but that is a still early access game

Ya Xbox...really nothing is doing it for me this year but Cuphead.
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds if it happens this year, but I don't think it will, and I can just wait an extra year for that one to come to PS4 anyway.
Switch would be great for my kid, but personally don't need another system in the house she's fine with Bound, and Overcooked on PS4, plus I got Jax & Daxter for free.

That's kind of the point of getting which console has a better lineup for you. I love PS4. My tastes are a bit unorthodox compared to the modern gamer so it's done pretty well in giving me something different. Yes, I play some games with a common appeal like Uncharted or Horizon because they're awesome, but my heart is in quirky games (Mario, Team Ico games, Gravity Rush, Persona) or challenging games (Ni Oh, Dark Souls). PlayStation is where I get my fix for most of those games, so I mostly game on PlayStation. I'm in the parallel of your situation where the only game I see myself buying on Xbox in the foreseeable future is Cuphead.

Danganronpa V3 is not a PS4 exclusive. It's also coming to PS Vita. It is currently PlayStation exclusive, but not PS4 exclusive.
That is, until the inevitable Steam port like the first two Danganronpa games got.

Nonetheless I am very much looking forward to Danganronpa V3, got the limited edition for Vita pre-ordered.

I was looking forward to Gran Turismo Sport until it became clear that there will be essentially no single player campaign mode. Have been a huge fan of this game series and Playstation, but it may be time to jump ship now. :-(
