Nicobass has announced that a public demo for his fan-made Unreal Engine 4-powered remake of Tomb Raider 2, Tomb Raider The Dagger Of Xian, will be released next week.
Nicobass has shared new screenshots for the next version of his Tomb Raider 2 Remake in Unreal Engine 4, Tomb Raider The Dagger Of Xian.
I really don't know why Square Enix hasn't done a remake trilogy for Tomb Raider I-III like Activision did with Crash Bandicoot and Spyro.
DSOGaming writes: "In 2017, Nicobass impressed a lot of Tomb Raider fans as he released an incredible tech demo of Tomb Raider 2 in Unreal Engine 4, called Tomb Raider The Dagger Of Xian. Since then, this talented guy has been working on his fan project and recently released two new screenshots from it."
It bothers me that all people talk about is Lara's design but no one talks about the DINOSAURS! That was the best part of Tomb Raider they took away! I have no idea why they strayed away from cool creatures and went for realism instead.
DSOGaming writes: "Nicobass has released the demo for his remake of Tomb Raider 2 in Unreal Engine 4, Tomb Raider The Dagger Of Xian, and below you can find some screenshots from it. And even though this is a demo created by a single person, Tomb Raider The Dagger Of Xian is one of the most beautiful games on the PC."
Very cool. Whish this would come to consoles.
