ESA Awards Scholarships to 15 Future Game Developers

GameSpy: "The ESA Foundation has selected 15 promising video game developers to receive $45,000 in scholarships, the charitable organization announced today. The students, from academic institutions across the country, are currently studying industry subjects ranging from electronic game design to digital audio technology.

"I commend these men and women on their selection and wish them continued success in their studies," said Michael Gallagher, president and CEO of the Entertainment Software Association, which represents U.S. computer and video game publishers. "Their academic pursuits will help give rise to innovative technologies and ideas that will fuel our industry's growth in the coming years."
