'The Conduit' Already Has 'MotionPlus' Support, WiiSpeak Too

MTV Multiplayer's Patrick Klepek reports:

"High Voltage Software has received heaps of attention for "The Conduit," a hardcore-focused shooter designed from the ground up for Wii.

The studio is intent on making full use of the Wii's capabilities, High Voltage COO Eric Nofsinger told me at Nintendo's fall summit in San Francisco yesterday.

"The Conduit" will support both the Wii MotionPlus accessory - they just received development kits - and the "Animal Crossing"-linked WiiSpeak."

its funny how developers cried that there wouldn't be enough time to use motion plus for their current games...

Even HVS already confirms that it will support M+.
so if other developers are releasing their stuff next year too they shouldn't be crying about not having enough time or that the project is far in developement.

If they release the games around the same time as HVS and not having motion plus than there is no excuus.

"I don't take the disagree/agree serious anymore.
its flawed, they should force people to make an argument/comment."

I agree with you 100%

stupid haters all over the place

ChickeyCantor3790d ago (Edited 3790d ago )

in return, i shall grant you a bubble...
( not sure if it has any affect since i really don't get how you actually get a bubble...i mean like it still needs to have something nalanced out before you actually get one or something.)

So the conduit is where mah wii-boys chill. ^-^
It looks amazing, they should license the engine out as the Congine or the enguit or something equally ridiculous.

lol true bu then again i think more effort is going into the Conduit then most titles......although there are alot of titles next year for the wii that look promising without the aid of motion plus
Do we know if Madworld or HotD:Overkill will support either of these?

blockhead17003791d ago

Awesome and to true sidar if HVS can throw together support for M+ and WiiSpeak why can't others who have games coming out after it... Ah well what can you do. This game will be sweet though :)

that looks like a generic og xbox shooter, lets hope the motion controls alone make it worth playing. I'm surprised ubisoft isn't picking up publishing rights for it, because even a generic shooter would sell big on the wii.

looks like a generic wii hater, lets hope you come up with a better argument. Until then, the open zone is to the right.

I just watched some of the new videos IGN has up! I really like what I see, except when some of the enemies were shot they kind of flung their head back and ran a few steps then righted themselves and then died. I think it looks a little funny because they are leaning back to long from bullet impact. Just a minor detail, though.
