Woe to the conquered… With the summer drought almost at an end, I recently took the time to play one of the games that defined my childhood, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain.
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain has returned to PC via GOG.
Silicon Knights' action adventure launched on PSone in 1996 before coming out on PC a year later. It's the first game in the Legacy of Kain series, which went on to include the seminal Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2 and Blood Omen 2.
F*** YES!
one of the few games that actually deserve a remaster! Soul Reaver next please!
For GotGame's Bring it Back retrospective feature this week, the spotlight shines on the Legacy of Kain franchise.
I’d love a current take on either Legacy or Kain Soul Reaver. Personally I have more memories spending time getting through all the pain in the ass puzzles of Soul Reaver, but really enjoyed the game and art style
Id want a remake or just a new game in the series. Went back and played this a few years ago , to me at least it didnt really age well
I've been wanting this for years, but you need to make sure Amy Hennig is part of the series, because she was a huge part of the series in the past.
Legacy of Kain is badass. Ahead of its time, then they went in a completely off beat direction, go back to what made the first one so great. Blood Omen Kains legacy is the best one, went down hill after reaver.
Square Enix is a huge gaming company with a ton of franchises to their name. Naturally not all will survive, but here are a few iconic games gamers miss.
Square Enix has abandoned a large number of their Eidos, Taito & even Enix properties. Majority of classic series that get revivals from them nowadays are those that were from the Squaresoft portion of the company
Noooo stop reminding me this series is dead. I'm still heartbroken.
Same here pal, but it's good to talk about these things! :D Cheers for the comments guys.
