Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni has been removed from Steam in Australia and Germany

I (Robin Ek, TGG) just found out that Marvelous, Meteorise and HONEY PARADE GAMES sexy action brawler "Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni" has been removed from Steam in Australia and Germany :S

I could be wrong, but I think it's the same deal for New Zealand. So I bet that they import a lot of games from Japan as well (or Hong Kong for that matter)..

Australia is very bad. Nz is fine with games. I cant think of a game were we received a censored version or the game was banned in NZ

@saveFerris you're right, hadn't heard about that. Currently 9 games banned in nz: criminal girls: invite only, gal gun, manhunt 1 &2, postal 2 &3, rapelay, 3 sisters story and reservoir dogs. And aussie is around 32 titles according to wiki

Just check out the comments on Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni's Steam page, and I understand that people are angry. Because I feel like everyone should be able to buy and enjoy the game no matter where you live ("if" you are old enough to play the said game in question).

It's no wonder why game imports are so important to the folks in Germany and Australia. In the matter of fact, I know quite a few people from Australia that import tons of uncensored (and banned) games from Japan every year.

It's funny that the first choice of genre to ban the subject/genre these organizations/agencies/governe rning powers go to is sexual based genre. They pick Sexual content over a violent content...So let everyone murder, kill, and slash all day long but ........... but when it is sex based....

to let somebody play consensual perversion or flirtation or fantasize doing something in a skimpy outfit/lack of outfit that normally isn't done (like fighters, racing games, etc....)

So is all gaming banned in these countries? Probably not. That more than likely makes whoever supports these laws Hypocrites in my opinion.... Also I'm sorted of disgusted that people choose violence over consensual sex based content ( notice I said "consensual" I do not support rape and do believe rape is "NOT" sexual but is "Violence" ).

I don't play these type of games unless it's a fighter may just also have content in the game that could be put in this category (it's pretty standard practice in fighters) and often include both violence and dress their characters in skimpy outfits that normally wouldn't be on a fighter.... Thankfully most of the time the outfit/wardrobe is optional part of the game.....

Even though I don't like playing sexual base games I hate Hypocrites and think the ban is very Hypocritical....

Even If it were true that games can make people become what they play

1.Violent game would make a Violent person
2. A perverted or overly flirtatious game would make a perverted, flirtatious person, sexual person
