Have you ever wanted to earn a living off of video games? This hacker says he found and exploited flaws in online games and made it his full-time job.
Phantom Knight provides his thoughts on the futility of Console Wars.
Humans are competitive by nature, in life there’s winner and losers.
Console wars don’t hurt the industry.
it will never die. It's not much of a war when Sony has won 3/4 of it's gens in historic fashion.
Nintendo atari sega were all once in the dedicated home console race, them 3 are the og's and none of them make home consoles anymore, Sony and microsoft killed them all and nintendo's case they ran off to their handheld market because they could not keep up with the big 2 in the dedicated home console business. Ill continue to support the big 2 as long as i can.
Gaming desktops are usually either big and heavy full-size beasts, or else miniaturized boxes that lack the power to impress. And whether you buy a complete system or an empty chassis to fill with components, they're often on the fugly side.
Deville Louw put together a list of 10 memorable and sometimes very difficult video game boss encounters. Do you remember these?
Most of the games listed span more than two decades. Why even add that in the title?
There's a lot more bosses that were memorable than just this list. Tough to narrow it down to just 10.
Are you okay? The most of them are from games that were released over 20 years ago.
That first boss fight in God of War was totally Legendary. I felt like it was a last boss fight.
Truly one of the best boss fights I ever played in a game.
Psycho Mantis fight also was Legendary.
Have you ever wanted to earn a living by being a piece of shit?
MMOs always have glitches that are just waiting to be found and exploited. Easiest one I found so far allowed you to buy any item at the vendor even if it wasn't supposed to be purchased, in which case the price was set to 0. So at some point I was running around in unreleased costumes with a GM title impersonating admins but the publisher never cared and despite all the reports I never got banned LOL.
They fixed the bug after a year or so but I found another exploit which involved trading where you could make any item you wanted assuming you could decrypt and forge new packets. Developers seem to think third party anti cheat rootkits prevent their game from being hacked and proceed to rely on it and just trust all client info. Step your game up devs ;)
It's quite cool when you think about it, he's taking his skills and applying them in an exciting and creative way without completely turning into a black hat. Granted he was probably very damaging to the economies, rather he find exploits and profiteer off MMORPG economies than creating banking trojans and ransomware. Better yet, he got out and now works as a consultant.
I wonder why Wildstar couldn't detect this?
I wonder what he looks like... http://imgur.com/a/IaXbN
