I was unhappy with DT and have spent far less time in it than any other expansion but it's things like this that makes me respect Yoshi P. It's rare for such a high profile developer to be so candid in his assessment on a live game.

Lol, maybe I'm becoming an old fart, but excessive violence in VR seems to bother me more than in flat games. Feels more visceral when you're looking a person in the eyes before mutilating them.
By no means am I trying to be a prude and saying these games shouldn't exist. I just play them more sparingly, need more breaks. I need some beautiful, refreshing & relaxing VR experiences too to balance them out so I don't feel so heavy.
VR dominant? I hope not, that could get me to stop playing games and I would hate it.
I think the main thing holding back VR is the price tag attached to it. I know there's more affordable options but there's a difference between "more affordable" and "affordable"
doubt VR will be the standard for a long time, VR and traditional games can co exist but VR wont replace traditional gaming
I also think that VR won't ever replace traditional screen gaming. It's just not practical to put a headset on for long periods and shut out the world around you.
VR is to gaming as Electric cars is to the automobile industry, they will be adopted, used, and have an important role, but they won't take over just yet. It'll be years on years before we fully adopt VR.
