Fun game but damn it's unplayable for me. Constant logging or searching for servers. When I try to play offline? It still keeps searching EVERY TIME you hit the menu. I tried playing offline but it kept timing out due to licensing issue? Sigh. Good game BUT........

I bought it on sale on Steam and the controls are just way too sloppy. Not a bad game but I just couldn't get past the controls.

Odd I never had any issue with the controls but I played on PS4 maybe that was the difference. Did you use keyboard mouse or did you plug in a controller to your PC?

avalanche studios did a very poor job of patching especially when other studios around them were listening to feedback and improving their games. don't have psn plus at the moment but will pick this up around holidays when it's under $10

This really is an underrated game. SOOO much content, often beautiful visuals, and just plain fun. Also, the more I have played it, the more charming it has become. At first I REALLY missed the SCORPIO, SCORPIO chanting, but have learned to appreciate the more subtle charm of statements by npc's. If you dont download this game for free you are really missing out!

Nothing quite like diving down from the clouds with the powered wing suit and then pulling up just before the surface of the water and gliding over it, its really an amazing game.

I paid full price to play it on PS4 and loved every minute of it, the fact people who hadn't had a chance to get this before can now get this for free on PS Plus is astounding. The game is great fun, the destruction is over the top awesome and when you get the powered wing suit you can fly around pretty much permanently and it is fantastic! Definitely recommend it.

I've been playing it since it was free last month on ps+ but I keept getting a "connecting to online" message even when playing single player only. Very confusing, the game has a lot of fun though, I like crashing from the sky lolol

Just Cause 3 is one of the most fun games this gen and is definitely a milestone in terms of technical brilliance. No idea how Avalanche managed to cram all that destruction and being so optimized (At least now). It has flaws, but that didn't stop me from putting 100 hours into it without the multiplayer mod. Now that the multiplayer mod is here, I guess another 100 hours of grappling to planes is inevitable.

And I can give you 5 reasons not to play this game (didn't hate it, but have some problems with the game)

1. Mediocre vehicle controls, especially motorcycles!!!! Why would someone like to use them if you don't make them fun. + Bad camera when in vehicles.

2. Only way to upgrade your cool gear is to play boring challenges.

3. Game world is unnecessary big. Map is big for big sake. Alot of pointless spots on the map where you wouldn't want to be, and there are nothing to do there either.

4.The developers want you to experiment and improvise when playing, and that's where the fun is. But they are relying on it in this game. It can be fun to drop a buss full of bombs from a heli and destroying most of the base you are taking over for example. Until you find the most efficent way of doing things. Just run around and shoot everything with your guns or a heli.. coming up with your own fun is always a pain for many, especially when you are not being rewarded for it.

5.If you are playing on consoles, the bad framerate is a big reason not to play the game. If you are sensitive.

Completed it 100%. So i guess it did something right. A bit disappointed tho when problems from the second game are still in the third. And the controls for some vehicles are arguably worse. Still a good game tho.

So I have a legit question...

Is this game playable on the PS?

I love the game but it runs so bad on Xbox, as soon as an the game starts getting crazy and fun, the frame rate is unbearable and the game just starts to I guess lag.

I currently don't have PS Plus but I thought about renewing just for just cause if it runs better, so what are you guys opinion on the PS version?

And the pro seems to have fixed it a little, but not as silky smooth as you would hope.

xbox one and ps4 version was about the same performance wise. So if it is the OG ps4 version you were thinking about, you will be disappointed.
