Dynasty Warriors 9 gets some great new gameplay showing Xiahou Dun in action, while three returning characters are revealed: Ling Tong, Gan Ning, and Xu Zhu.

Exactly what I said in the YT comments. The AI is still too point A to B. They should have better reaction to enemy officers and being attacked. I hope this game turns out great though. I used to love DW4 and DW5. Haven't liked any since. I feel the camera should be improved as well.

Yes the put the A I on very easy during the demo so they could show more of the features and landscape of the game with out the player getting attacked to often

Wish they'd give Gan Ning his sword back and bring back his original Musou that just wrecked everything on the battlefield.

Even though so many of the characters in DW3 had minor palette swapped weapons, Gan Ning's moveset is what made him the best with that sword. Nothing like getting a Musou Full for 30 seconds power up and one shotting everything.

Looks bad for me. Like boring travelling through empty spaces between missions. I prefer loading screens. I don't like this open world plague.

I don't think I would ever hear or read someone say they would rather have a loading screen than actually playing a game. People surprise me every day lol

If it is boring running through the empty world? Of course I prefer loading screen, at least I could do something else, make a tea or something... Holding a button for a few minutes and doing nothing else isn't "playing".
Don't get me wrong, I like DW games and I had high hopes for that one, I just don't like that lazy game design and everything-must-be-open-world trend.

I do get what you are coming from but I have to disagree. I have no problem games becoming open world games. It makes the immersion so much better. Of course, if there is nothing to do in the open world you are going to get some hate for that. That video we seen did seem a little boring and I am a little worried but it is a DW game so having to travel somewhere even though maybe boring might bring these Kingdoms to life a little more. If you want to make tea just pause the game, that isn't really an argument.
