So it's really going to happen then? lol

Neonridr2894d ago (Edited 2894d ago )

what rock have you been hiding under? What, you just thought the E3 demonstration by Bethesda was a trick or something?

nitus102893d ago (Edited 2893d ago )

Of course, it is happening. Skyrim is an old game (11th November 2011) and was designed to run on older hardware with less technical specs than the Nintendo Switch.

From what I can gather the Switch is getting the version that ran on the PS3 or the XBox360 except it will scale from 720p (handheld mode) to 1080p in the dock.

As most people here know Skyrim is a huge game and you could spend hundreds of hours (especially with the DLC) although depending on the difficulty you set or change on the fly you could reduce the main campaign to about 30 or 40 hours (speed running being the exception). Still, the game IMHO is best played on a decent sized screen but if people want to play using a small screen (6.2 inches) then that is up to them.

Nintentional2893d ago

it's the remastered edition 🤦🏻‍♂️ Not the older PS360 version.

What you gathered is wrong.

How many more times do we need to buy this to show them that we want TESVI >.< I'm with everyone else, this is just beating a dead horse.

FullmetalRoyale2893d ago

I don't disagree. But if you had told me back when it released that I'd see it fully playable on a portable, I wouldn't believe you. If I hadn't bought Skyrim on PS4, and had a Switch, this would be a day one for me.

Next up, Skyrim toilet paper with instructional "shouts" to empty your pipes.

nitus102893d ago (Edited 2893d ago )

Well said but please no "I took an arrow in the knee". 😎

zivtheawesome2893d ago

after seeing this i am pretty sure that it is standard edition and not the special edition. expected but still.

GameBoyColor2893d ago

Looks in between graphical wise. All the dlc is included though and no mods.

Summons752893d ago

Pretty sure it's the Special Edition. Everywhere is reporting it as such and I saw a few reports saying Bethesda themselves confirmed it. As long as it comes with all the DLC (which it does) I don't really care.

_-EDMIX-_2893d ago (Edited 2893d ago )

No it's not

if it was ever the special edition Bethesda would have specifically said so why would they not advertise their game to be that version? Because of the switches power limitations it's not going to be running at the same thing PS4 and Xbox One was running at.

we're literally looking at the official website and it states nothing about being the special edition in fact they go out of their way to remove all the same wording on the official Nintendo switch Skyrim page, yet that's on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One official websites regarding special edition or enhanced graphical features and elements.

http://www.nintendo.com/gam...

I see no special edition.

Stop lying please.

So it's your hearsay with no link and no evidence versus the official pages....

Surrrrre

Gemmol2893d ago

Open your eyes, if you can't see its better than normal then you need help.

_-EDMIX-_2893d ago

I mean I would have to see a direct feed in order to even tell if it was slightly better than the normal version.

Everything that I'm seeing so far looks like the vanilla version last generation.

I need to see more but it wouldn't surprise me if it's simply somewhere in between especially considering they're being very careful on how they word this version

nowhere on any of the official pages from the company ever States Special Edition and they actually take out the wording regarding enhanced graphical elements.

Sony Faces Class Action in the Netherlands Over Allegedly Inflated PlayStation Store Prices

Mass Damage & Consumer Foundation in the Netherlands has filed a class action against Sony for inflating PlayStation Store prices.

dveio0m ago

My personal opinion:

Manufacturers and publishers have indeed inflated the industry.

From $700 million development costs for games like Call of Duty, to digital (store) prices for games and DLCs, online multiplayer fees in consoles or still preventing sell/lend digitally purchased games.

Sometime in the future, this bubble will collapse.

They should know better, but they just can't help themselves and suck even the last penny out of our wallets.

Cancelled Batman Game Featuring Damian Wayne Character Designs Surface

"Project Sabbath" was a cancelled Batman game by WB Games Montreal where Damien Wayne was set to take on the mantle of the Bat.

Terry_B2d ago

Its time Damian ...and his mother too & how his son came to be will be a big part in a background story of a Batman movie, series or game.

-Foxtrot1d 16h ago

I'd have rather seen Terry than Damian especially to see what they could have done with Terry in the Arkhamverse

excaliburps6h ago

No, WB doesn't want anything fun since suits want live service garbage for max revenue. LOL!

Shame. If we are getting any Batman games like these, it'll be years away.

Babadook71h ago

Not to be confused with Damon Wayans.

jznrpg1h ago

I’m not a big superhero fan but I do enjoy the Batman and SpiderMan games. Too bad this one got cancelled. WB has been mostly shite live service.
