A little TOO retro…
Developed by Tozai, the same studio behind the Switch title Minna de Wai Wai! Spelunker, Lode Runner Legacy is a (as of now) PC exclusive title which attempts to bring the classic Hudson Soft franchise to the 21st century.
PP: Lode Runner Legacy is an excellent retro remake. Managing to reinvigorate the series, while respecting its origins, Legacy delivers a definitive experience, complete with charming voxel art, a stellar soundtrack, addictive gameplay, and more levels than you can shake a lode at!
Lode Runner Legacy is now available worldwide on PS4 via the PlayStation Store. The original Lode Runner was first released in 1983 for Apple II, Atari XL/XE, MSX, and Commodore 64. It spawned sequels on numerous platforms, including arcade, home console, handheld, mobile, and PC.
Tozai Games is bringing Lode Runner Legacy to the PS4 on January 29. It was previously released on PC and Nintendo Switch.
Can't wait! I played Lode Runner and Jumpman a lot as a teenager on my Commodore 64!
yeah, doesn't sound like a good PC fit
Ew... Lodes
I remember playing Lode Runner on the Atari 800XL. I think I prefer the old look to this one.
