Carlos writes "Although it’s been around for a few years now, Early Access on Xbox One still doesn’t feel right. I’m not entirely sure why, but given that some of my favourite games have come through the program, it probably isn't something I should be criticising. But the general feel of playing a game in an unfinished state, whilst slumped on the sofa, is something that will likely take a few more years of getting used to.
Nevertheless, new additions continue to be added to the Xbox Game Preview program and with my intrigue never failing to get the best of me, I jumped into the newest addition, Ghost of a Tale, to see if this was another cracking title that we should all be keeping an eye on."
From PSU: "Medieval fantasy action-RPG Ghost of a Tale is one of the many games backwards compatible on the PS5, and it looks stunning in action, running at a locked 60 FPS for the new console. Want to see more? Then check out 25 minutes of the game in action below!"
I put this on my list of games I might buy long ago, but never picked it up. It looks like a fun fantasy action RPG game with mice. Maybe if I find the time I might pick it up.
Umm yeah..it is like that since it was released 2 years ago on PC. I bought the PC version for 7 bucks a while ago
I just finished the game. It's a charming stealth game. A little bit rough around the edges, but nothing game breaking. I was impressed with the extensive lore of this indie title. Hope there will be a sequel.
Everyone loves an adorable protagonist. GameSpew has ranked the 10 most adorable protagonists who are sure to make you go "awwwwww."
Carlos writes: "For those who ignored Ghost of a Tale during its spell in Xbox Game Preview, the completed story follows a small, charming and captivating little rodent. It is he who finds himself imprisoned within the dark and dreary walls of Dwindling Heights Keep on the shore of Lake Vaelia, separated from the true love of his life, Meera."
Really digging this game and its world kinda hoping there was more music to it but I get they're trying to be atmospheric.
I'll definitely be picking this up once it becomes a fully fledged title, but for I'd rather not get involved in any Early Access stuff. Would just frustrate me massively.
Game looks very promising. I just have a hard time dropping $30 on unfinished games...
