Agreed, instant black hole. The Switches voice chat is the only thing I trully hate about the system atm. Its just massivelyy awkward. Everything else is turning out great. I just hate that it has to be plugged into phone and Switch at the same time. clusterf£ck of wires.

The primary design is flawed, this controller is just trying to support this flaw. Nintendo can't get out of their own way to make a viable solution. At this point of advancement in electronics, using a cell phone to communicate over a game system is just stupid.

It's not solved, and it's not even a workaround.

Switch online service will suck and only a handful of idiots will actually use it. When I play games, I am not talking on my phone. When I talk on my phone, I am not playing games.

If Nintendo wanted to sell us online they would have built voice chat into the console. They didn't, so they do not and will not have an online service worth any amount of money per month. As it is, it's not even worth 5 cents a month because the service is non-existent.

I plan on getting a swtich, but I do so realizing it's an offline console. I have no problems with that. The NES, SNES, and N64 were all offline too and I loved them all.

What's funny is, I actually use my phone for Discord while I raid in FFXIV, even though I'm playing on PC. The reason is so that I can use a different connection to avoid eating up the bandwidth.
