How Splatoon 2's Switch tech improves over Wii U

We're no strangers to Splatoon 2, of course. It was one of the very first Switch titles we played at Nintendo's launch event - and the chances are that if you own the hardware, you would have participated in one of its 'test fire' pre-launch beta tests.

i compiled a list of what was stated in the videos:
docked dynamic 1080p -> 864p at 60
portable 720p dynamic -> 648p at 60
no AA during gameplay
hub docked 1080p30 with AA
more detail on character models
better texture for enviorments
many more proper shadows on models and players than wiiu (while that shadow resolution is still pretty low)
paint sees bump in quality with a sparkel effect and more defined edges.
60fps is perfect with no drop anytime so far while gameplay (in hub it is locked 30)

Zero frame rate drop 60fps, take note other console developers!

I'm really looking forward to this. I sold my Wii U before I got to play the first Splatoon, but it always looked like a lot of fun.

'Splatoon 3’s' Inkopolis DLC Might Be Nostalgic, But It’s Totally Shallow

o matter what the reasoning is behind Splatoon 3’s lack of content and substance in the first half of its paid expansion, Wave 1: Inkopolis is certainly not worth any fan’s money and should have always been viewed as a small bonus to tide fans off from what’s still to come.
