The racing genre in particular could benefit greatly from the extra grunt that the Xbox One X has to offer, especially with regards to frame rate. Far too often we've had to settle for 30 frames per second (fps) on console racers, however this could very well change this November.

Such a strange headline. I mean it’s a brand new console released on June 5th. It would be weird if it wasn’t still dominating in sales.
I figure its dominating everywhere. I stopped with consoles this gen sticking with PC and the switch will get 99% of the games this way.
Going strong sales! The Switch 2 was launched here in Southeast Asia on June 26. I was among those who pre-ordered. I got my unit the same day with Cyberpunk 2077, and there was a long line of people getting their pre-orders, not as long as the line when a NBA 2K series launched, but it was different because it will be released on all platforms.
I want to see how well the June and July world wide sales.

It blows my mind that Nintendo didn’t bother to add the Hall effect to their analog joysticks after the NS1 was plagued by that. Is it too much for Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation to do a simple fix on their gamepads even if it costs a bit more?
I have someone who mods my controllers for me. A set of Hall effect modules are around 15$ retail. It should be standard these days.
Unfortunately, they could not use them due to the electromagnetic field from the magnets in the Switch 2 joy-cons, ironically it would cause drifting!
Any software that's released as a Game Key Card is an automatic skip so I can see that

It is massive compared to the switch 1. 6-10X the power, but compared to current standards it’s the bare minimum.
It's just a minor upgrade nothing special. Could have included the Oled screen but greedy Nintendo have something planned for it already.

Great review! We have almost the same impression of the Switch 2. I don't care if the screen isn't OLED, because when I put it next to my friend's Steam OLED screen, they barely deviated in quality.
as an owner of a Steam Deck OLED and a Switch 2 I can wholeheartedly disagree with this statement.
The Steam Deck is nice as I can play my Steam library on the go. But until the Steam Deck can run Mario Kart World or DK Bananza at 60fps then honestly, I can't even begin to compare the two.
And yet people will buy it regardless of the other "good" consoles lol. People want to have fun, not to gawk at dem gwafics like some of you would.
it can do better graphics than the Steam Deck. Higher resolution screen and it can use DLSS which is superior to FSR.
Screen response time is incredibly poor at over 33ms it is not true HDR (handheld screen) due to low brightness LCD. 120hz screen really is not a big help. Still fun, but an overpriced handheld IMHO
Where do you want to play your racing games? No better place than X1X, unless you own a really high end PC.
dope. im not a big f1 guy but I've played pCars 2 already and its awesome. waaaaay better than the first one (which i really grew to dislike). gonna run killer on the one x.
Xbox family have the best racers whether first or third party.
