I (Robin Ek, TGG) just found out about Steel Mantis upcoming 2D action-platformer "Valfaris". So I took the liberty to share my thoughts on what I think about the game so far.
October 2019 saw the launch of action-platformer Valfaris, and now the sequel has a date. Side-scrolling shoot ’em up Valfaris: Mecha Therion is coming to PC on November 21, 2023, with consoles to follow later.
Reminds me of Lords of Thunder on the Turbo Gaphix 16. That was a great game, hope this turns out well.

Valfaris can be easily described as a throwback to retro classics such as Metal Slug, Super Turrican, Ghosts 'n Goblins, and Mega Man.
