Wow well done! I guess UK has mad love for the crazy marsupial! Lets see how the rest of the world reacts to it. My copy is coming tomorrow morning, cant wait!

PS: Time for Crush to visit Nintendo's HQ again?

FITgamer1984d ago

It also sold more than Horizon: Zero Dawn FW.

I thought single player games didn't matter

Gazondaily1984d ago

I thought people didn't like playing old games? 🤔

Silly gameAr1984d ago

This is a remake of an old game. Different from your precious BC.

Darkfist_Flames1984d ago

@Septic LOL, dont worry you'll get to enjoy your old games on xbox, meanwhile let us enjoy our new, old, AND remake games.

andrewsquall1984d ago

@Septic No, people just don't like playing old, unnecessary overhyped games like Phantom Dust even when its free apparently (seriously, had to google the name of it yet AGAIN). There is a big difference.

UCForce1984d ago

@Septic Guess what ? This is remake, not a cheap remastered. Rethink your statement, buddy.

ocelot071984d ago (Edited 1984d ago )

@Septic I also thought Lord Spencer said people don't like playing single player games anymore. I thought his word was gospel. Ohhhh savour of Xbox Lord Spencer how could you be so wrong.............again.

Gazondaily1984d ago

" I also thought Lord Spencer said people don't like playing single player games anymore."

Offtopic but can I have a source where he said "people dont like playing single player games anymore?"

UltraNova1984d ago

Putting petty efforts at trolling ^^^ aside, if the game's success in the UK is similar everywhere then Activision should clearly make a new Crush game!

bouzebbal1984d ago

Lol septic your biterness is over 9000!!!
Old games new games, PS4 ftw.

RommyReigns1984d ago (Edited 1984d ago )

Septic is kinda bitter today :D Septic I assume you'll be getting this after you clock Horizon?

Also don't worry about last week when you got attacked by EDMIX after you won the N4G Troll World Heavyweight Championship from the monster heel Moldybread (and EDMIX stealing the belt from you), this week you've got yourself a chicken match against EDMIX to claim back your title (the stipulation - no DQ, anything goes, the area outside the ring by the stage is a pit full of chicken feathers, the first to cover their opponent full of molasses and throw them into the pit and covering them in feathers is the winner). The loser not only gets the injustice of losing the match but has to kiss the backside of the chairmod Vincent Kennedy Christopher.

DigitalRaptor1984d ago (Edited 1984d ago )

A bit weird that you would try and draw this parallel, Septic.

This is a from-the-ground-up remake of the old games. It's a new game, and you completely failed at referencing Jim Ryan's comment, where he was talking about the visuals of games from generations ago, particularly old Gran Turismo games. This remake's starkest improvements are in the visuals where it actually looks like a current gen game, so if anything that validates his point there.

As expected, you don't even have a point.

On neogaf someone said over 166k.
thats alot in the UK for a opening week.
It is bigger than every mario game launch week sale in UK in past decade
first weeks:
[Week 47, 2009] NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. WII (NINTENDO) - 79,000 / NEW
[Week 23, 2010] SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2 (NINTENDO) - 77,000 / NEW
[Week 46, 2009] SUPER MARIO GALAXY (NINTENDO) - No Data less than 100k

Also it beat 2017 Zelda and mario cart launch week sale by good margin
All data is UK sales only.
UK is crash country

EddieNX 1984d ago (Edited 1984d ago )

I've noticed quite a few people on my facebook is playing it, like its in fashion atm...

andrewsquall1984d ago

Ireland is Crash country too ^_^

RommyReigns1984d ago

And I haven't seen a single advert for the game on TV! What an achievement! The game is fricking awesome and hopefully it gets the worldwide sales it deserves.

rivaldoo7771984d ago

The power of Naughty Dogs now aday. Even though it was remade by other studio, this proves what happens when you release great games after great games.

TheOttomatic911984d ago (Edited 1984d ago )

Although I don't line in UK as someone who lives in the EU region I can confirm my love of Crash.

I feel you. I've been told Im going to have to wait till 14th July to wait for the next shipment to arrive where I am. Same thing happened with persona 5. As a result Ive preordered final fantasy 12 just in case this happens as well. And no I will not get Crash digital, I want to add it to my physical collection

Newmanator1984d ago

Wow sorry to hear that, I almost didn't preorder because I didn't think the demand would be that high.

UCForce1984d ago

That's ridiculous fast. This will boost PS4 sales even further.

DeathtoOtakuDJ1984d ago

They should do a Black Friday bundle. Great gift for the holiday.
