I literally can’t ‘approve’ this review. Has the reviewer got an attention span of 5 seconds? Maybe they’ve not played a rogue-like game before? They complain because they lose everything when they die... yeah, that’s the point. You get to spend your gems you don’t spend during your life on upgrades and abilities you obtain via books. The books you find during play or beating bosses - so I guess he never beat any of the bosses...

Just seems like the guys woke up on the wrong side of the bed and wanted to crap all over something and this was the first thing he saw. It’s a decent small rogue-like game. It’s nit the best, but it’s addictive and fun. He seriously moaned about a book coming to life and killing him - one of the basic enemies which you can clearly see is about to come to life. In the ‘normal mode’, levels aren’t random either, so it’s about leaning the layouts and getting better each time.

Sorry to ramble, but such a pathetic score from someone who was clearly not going to give the game a chance from the start.

1/10 is an unplayable game. I have played this and it’s a decent game . I could see him giving it a 6 or something like that but 1 is like all time bad , E.T , Superman etc bad

Bard's Gold (Nintendo Switch) Review | GamePitt

Over the last year, I’ve played games such as The Persistence, Dead Cells, Devious Dungeon, and Genesis Alpha One, all with their strengths and weaknesses. Today I’m taking a look at a fairly old game which recently came to the Nintendo Switch, Bard’s Gold.
