Amazon opens preorder for Doom VFR on PS4

Amazon has opened preorders for the PlayStation 4 version of Doom VFR.

Only having to pay $60 to be able to go 'in' to a beloved classic like Skyrim and explore that massive open world where you could spend 300+ hours easy.

So do we just ignore the fact it is the same exact game from 6 years ago, seriously people have put 100s of hrs into Skyrim already. People are going to mess around with it and move on just like Doom which will probably be a far more dedicated and fulfilling VR experience.

Bethesda are cash grabbing at Skyrim fans and it is as simple as that. I hope it fails hard and Bethesda quit with this BS. You going to defend $60 for Switch Skyrim as well?

Yet I and plenty of people go way past those limits without issue. Its no different than when games of any kind advise you take regular breaks yet people pull 8 hour sessions with barely a piss break.

I must have luck once I got my vr legs after a day I was playing vr easily for three hours plus. Stop reading the hate propaganda bs you find online lol Of course there are others that can't stomach vr at all but that's just like ppl that are epileptic and can't even play colorful games. It's life.

Lawson72, the only games that will affect you negatively in VR are those that have poor movement mechanics. I've played RE7 in VR for 4 hours continuously and I felt nothing. But take a game like "The Assembly" and it will affect you negatively in less than 30 minutes. It completely depends on what the developer is willing to do to make their games work in VR and I expect Skyrim to be even more immersive in VR than it was on console.

Doom vfr is not the same as Doom 2016. It's a much shorter game. Educated yourself.

Specimen, do you own PSVR? Have you played Batman, Rush of Blood, RE 7 or any other game using PSVR?

Myself and others are telling you that the experience varies from game to game. Until you try it and see for yourself, your links are meaningless.
