Yes and no.

It's an incredible and immersive game that you can lose yourself in for hours - but there's very little in way of story/direction, so you have to be happy paving your own way through the game and using the tools to 'make your own fun' almost

It litteraly blew me away for like 20 hours an then got a bit bored. Mastering the flight is a 10/10 experience. I might actually re install 🙂 "5, 4, 3, 2, 1 BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!". 👌👌👌

It seems like the kind of game that you need a very good imagination for. Like the others said, you need to make your own backstory and motivation to keep it going. I'm looking forward to giving it a try. Shouldn't be hard for me to enjoy since I enjoyed playing NMS :)

..and I'm ok with that myself. I'm another one that loves to sit back, relax, listen to some music and enjoy myself, playing NMS.. Looking forward to this one! Looks amazing.

The game has a steep learning curve, it's enjoyable if you commit to the game. Mining sessions used to take anything from 3 hours to 5 hours.

I got to point I have an anaconda pretty much fully A rated on Xbox one, it's a Tanky ship for sure.

If you want to see many videos of this alien stuff, there's tons happening on the elite dangerous Facebook page, mostly Xbox one users on there, good community it is as well.

I spent an absolute crazy amount of time trading slaves and mining, I have not done the exploration side, fighting is fun. Also going down to planets is ace going in moon buggys collecting up stuff. There so much to the game now and even more in the way, still well worth the price tag.

It can get boring if you let it that is, I got fed up only because someone UA bombed my station that I made all my credits at for mining. I was annoyed when they did that, shutting down everything so I had to try move on and find a new money maker which I never did.

This is a great space exploration game.

Markdn191d ago

Shame it's no longer supported though, :(

anast191d ago

A revive might be needed.

MrNinosan191d ago (Edited 191d ago )

What do you mean by quietly?
They announced it last week along the other games that was released yesterday on PS+ Extra/Premium.

GamerRN190d ago

They are trying to make it look like a casual drop, while trying to make it look like it outshines Starfield.

ModsDoBetter191d ago

Great game, sadly abandoned by the developers due to the different version it ran compared to PC.

Plenty of hours to be had, we just miss out on a bunch of cool features and story development compared to PC players.

raWfodog190d ago

I was bummed when they announced they wouldn’t be bringing Odyssey to consoles. That was when I really began losing active interest in the game. Up until then, I already had about 800 hours invested in the game.

PunksOnN4G191d ago

Nah I'm good this the dev team that had console plans then decided not to and only work on the PC version why would I support a trash company

z2g191d ago (Edited 191d ago )

its ok. its def a pc game that made its way to console randomly. been out for a few years so its not exactly "new".
