*Eyes widen* Well this is unfortunate.

After Akiba's Beat (and now this), I realized that changing the formula that made its preccesors special will just make it worse...unless if you do it in a good (and more polished) way like Danganronpa Another Episode.

Danganronpa AE: UDG was totally an exception to the rule. I was half expecting it to be a bit lacking but once I started playing I just couldn't put it down!

Still interested in getting this once it's cheap. Do hope they make a new Chronicles game.

Hmm, I wonder why they'd choose to change so much from the last one?

I think you may be right. Several Japanese devs have fallen into the trap of trying to "westernize" their games and ironically, put off a lot of the western audience, like Resident Evil 6.

It's changed heavily because this game is a spin-off, not a relaunch.

Development for the Vita was prioritized and the port to the Ps4 was an afterthought.

Valkyria Revolution might not be perfect, but it still deserves its chance to shine.

Rating Each of the Vita's Localization Studios

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "What I aim to examine in this article is the output of each of the major localization companies, in terms of what they released, what they chose not to release (including when they localized titles for other platforms but skipped the Vita version), as well as some brief commentary on the quality of their translations, before providing an overall rating on their support (outstanding -> amazing – > good -> solid -> poor).

A large part of the reason I love Vita so much is thanks to its brilliant selection of Japanese games and that’s really what I want to celebrate here, but also lament some of the missed opportunities we had along the way."
