Shame the gameplay doesn't match the aesthetics.

Honestly though, despite its flaws, I found myself enjoying the game. Personally, it is a major improvement compared to Kagowaka Games' previous awful tactical RPG Natural Doctrine.

So far, the game is getting reviews that ranges from "okay/playable" to "good/great" so is not much of a loss. Especially when you compare the reviews with the recently released mediocre JRPGs Akiba's Beat and Dark Rose Valkyrie.

That's a good point. Natural Doctrine was downright brutal at times - lots of trial and error.

In other words... More copies than Zelda BotW.

Is it any good? I've thinking about picking up the Switch copy.

Abriael2312d ago

If you like very classic style strategy JRPGs yes, it's good

Father__Merrin2312d ago

I've got this on ps4 still not played it. It's a grid based turn based jsrpg

tulholdren2312d ago

I'm enjoying it on the PS4. With so many games on my PS4 I try to give each some love. Only got like 3 hours in so far I'm liking it.

AizenSosuke2312d ago

It's fantastic right now to play.

Japanese games can help bring myths to life

Once folks get older, it can be more difficult to get them engaged and interested in legends. Fortunately, some Japanese video games can step in to bridge the gap.
