Alex S. from Link-Cable says: "Miitopia is one of my most anticipated games and I’m not even sure why. I mean I really enjoyed Tomodachi Life and got as much as I could out of Miitomo but both games lacked any sort of staying power after the ‘main game’ was complete and so far everything we’ve heard from Miitopia from Japan is more of the same but I still really can’t wait to get my hands on it. I’ve always loved the silliness and irrelevant nature of the Miis and throwing them into an RPG seems like a good idea that can help give them a bit more to do in a game. Well thanks to the newest 3DS eShop demo I finally got to get my hands on Miitopia and I can honestly say I think the Miis finally have gotten their first great game."
Nintendo reported its latest financial results today, and we have the latest look at games on Switch that have crossed the million copies sold threshold. New titles are appearing for the first time.
Whelp Mario Kart 8 Deluxe outsold Mario Kart Wii at this point. By March 31st 2022 it will be over or around 40 million at this rate. Truly insane. I'm curious to see how well Metroid Dread will perform on the Switch. It looks poised to be the best selling Metroid game. 2 million shouldn't be hard to pass especially on the Switch where an updated Mario Kart port can go on to be the best selling Mario Kart game.
Daily Video Game writes: "If you've got a Nintendo Switch and are on the hunt for cheap game deals, Amazon is running a game sale on a wide variety of popular games for Nintendo Switch right now, including many first-party and AAA titles."
Miitopia may just look like another Mii game trying to cash in on the success of the Wii. But buried within is a fun little romp of an RPG.
