Why Fallout 4 VR is the most important game of E3 2017

None of the games making news this week at E3 are as likely to inspire major industry change as Fallout's conversion into virtual reality.

I'm extremely skeptical about this and the big reason is because it's Bethesda

We all know that an order for VR to work it has to have a smooth experience and that is something that Bethesda just isn't known for.

Every game they've released has been plagued with bugs and poor spotty performance. Even on pc.

As much as i think this is cool, at the same time i believe this may turn out bad

I doubt it will only be playable on decent PC's and Xbox One X.

So far they've only said Fallout 4 VR will run on HTC Vive on the PC. Skyrim VR runs on PSVR though.

Skyrim is also on Switch, Fallout 4 is current gen. Isn't that what some keep parroting when BC is brought up?

The demands of VR versions of these titles and the regular versions aren't really comparable. Fallout 4 and Skyrim can run on a wide range of devices, but VR demands are significantly higher.

He knows Game. He's just taking a dig at PS4 BC when the subject is Fallout VR. He does that a lot. Subject could be fireflies and he'd find some way of spinning Sony into it.

As for Fallout, it's important in the sense that it's a full game to play through. Question on everyone's mind is if the game is good enough in VR? And if Bethesda is good enough to do it with their buggy track record?

Good VR just like good 3D movies is not tacked on. It's built from the ground up or rebuilt. Did Bethesda rebuild it or tack it on?

Lol, you were excited the other day about Skyrim and only now do you ask if Bethesda can do VR right for Fallout 4. Not a word about how buggy Skyrim might be. The mental gymnastics is just hilarious.

Did you present this concern for GT Sport or Tomb Raider? No, of course not. Only for games not confirmed for your platform.

But you have only showed that concern now on a game that might not come to PSVR. You showed no concerns over Skyrim, so just admit your bias and flip flop when appropriate.

The one that will offer me a great experience and not be handicapped by the hardware in a walled off garden and paying extra on games like Dirt Rally VR upgrades and one that that I can carry over when I upgrade, including my software.

I am also not going to be a guniea pig for this new technology, already been burned by the Playstation Move.
