Why is today’s games media so disgusted and afraid of digital booty and sex?

As of lately I (Robin Ek, TGG) have spotted a handful of articles by games journalists who despise and feel "grossed out" by digital booty and sex in video games. So that made me wonder why that's the case. Well, here's my take on the matter.

I'd argue for the same reasons media in general is "afraid" of such things.

In the US, it seems such things are more taboo then other parts of the world. When I visited the UK 10 years ago, I saw an ad on TV and the lady was naked, I was like.. "bruh, they are ok with this?" yet when I watched this show, some of the parts didn't know the people getting shot, like it wouldn't the impact or anything and a friend of mine told me its because of how they broadcast tv. You can't really have certain things shown.

It's quite simple; agenda pushing. Ever since SJWs rose up the media feels like they need to get on board and bring a sense of political correctness to games even though music, movies, and books all have way more graphic sexual content.

Unfortunately it's going to take another generation to get fed up with this SJW crap to allow for a balance of PC games and games that aren't afraid to be what they want to be.

The only problem would be with children wanting to play their parent's M rated games.

Example: GTA is huge because it's a great toy world simulator. Parents buy the game and their children play it even though it has that incorporate content.

I don't usually have a problem if it's 1 or 2 characters who are on the suggestive side but now a days it's like damn near every game that has a female character is scantly it's even creeping up in franchises thats not even known for having them(Fire Emblem).

Yep, it's so damn stupid. Loads of violence is ok, but no sex. I remember when working at gamestop a mother could not decide between gears of war or fable 3 for her son. Told her what both games entail, let her know gears was very violent with a chainsaw gun, and fable was good, but had sex where the screen turned black and heard funny noises.
