Well, it's not always perfect in the end. But still, you live and learn your mistakes. Hopefully, you can improve it for better future.

GottaBjimmyb2932d ago

What? I thought this year was absolutely amazing. Way more excited for all of this than for a FFVII remake and shemnue 3 in 5 years.

I clearly must live on a different planet then you guys.

Servbot412932d ago

Monster Hunter on consoles is the best announcement they could have possibly made. Nearly nothing else could have made me this excited. Spiderman looked terrible though.

Mr Lahey2932d ago

Really? Terrible?? What was so terrible about it?

WickedLester2932d ago

Yes, please elaborate. This I gotta hear! LOL

Salooh2932d ago

I dunno why people expected more, they showed so far:

2 story DLC of huge games (Horizon & Uncharted 4)
Some love for VR. ( Good thing but can be better )
Beyond
Days gone
Shadow of colossus
Gt sport (release date)
God of war (release date)
Spider man (release date)
Ni no kuni (release date)

All of these are huge games. The only thing can be expected was sucker punch which doesn't make sense why they are so silent but that also gives a good hint of the next e3 where we will see the last of us 2 and sucker punch . Sony didn't have to shock us because we needed to see more of these which are more than enough compared to other systems.

TXIDarkAvenger2932d ago

It's probably because we already knew about most of those games. People wanted to see more unannounced titles.

Salooh2932d ago (Edited 2932d ago )

It's not like Sony lack of upcoming huge games, if you look at it from studio perspective and their history releases,
The only game that should show up was sucker punch. Sony already announced and teased so many huge games so they needed to show clearly the actual thing and some release date.

Was the show lacking of big upcoming games? Was it cgi and unplayable? What they showed was huge. Just lacked one element which is surprise, other than that it shows how unrealistic and dramatic some people . Imagine your self in Sony and the developers position, after all this hard work it is almost nothing just because we didn't see one new ip this year?

Knowing them doesn't change the quality and quantity that have been shown. That's my issue, if you want to attack Sony only limit it to surprise element which I agree is very important , but not the complete show is rated based on it..

Salooh2932d ago (Edited 2932d ago )

If you apply same criteria to Ms with their so called exclusives they didn't show anything new too.

If I want to judge ms show based on exclusivity compared to Sony or even just xbox history I would give them f. If I want to judge it based on their previous e3 on their current vision of xbox(it's diffierent now) and how their new audience of gamers benefit from it I would give their show b+. See, it's a matter of perspective, all I am asking from media is to be objective and realistic. Are you expecting ms at current time to produce 5 real new exclusives? Even one is stupid, That's just silly especially if you look at ms vision now and their history.

Same treatment with Sony, look at their current vision, look at what they recently done to us, look at the history of studios, look at what's coming and make good and realistic expectations. Otherwise you create negative hype for your self and to others. I expect objectivity from media not from people. I guess I should lower my expectation and call myself an idiot for doing so...

Nodoze2932d ago

IIRC there was no GT Sport on display at ALL during the presser, nor was there any Ni No Kuni 2. Those were announced outside of the presser. I could be mistaken, but I don't remember seeing them.

Mr_Luke2932d ago

You are right, they showed those games in the pre-conference. Maybe that's why they weren't in the main event. They just had 1 hour and too many games to show ^^'''

yeahright22932d ago

they expected more because Sony could have shown more. (sucker punch, ni no kuni, last of us 2 etc.) But they had to save something for all the other conferences. Heck, this applies to all of them. I want to see what MS brings to GDC, what nintendo offers up and TGS, what ends up closing the show at PSX.
There's still tons to look forward to.

goldwyncq2932d ago

The conference was too damn short. Thirty more minutes could have made a huge difference.

Cohagen4202932d ago

If they would've included some of the announcements from the pre-show like GT Sports, Knack 2, and Ni No Kuni 2 that would've covered it. Although the games are still being provided, their conference felt lazy.

blackblades2932d ago

And after like .hack remaster on ps4/pc.

XStation4pio_Pro2932d ago

Agreed. I actually ended up thinking the one x was my peak. I expected something unexpected from Sony what I got was some great titles that will trickle out over the next few years but all shown together so it seems impressive from the start. You can hate on MS conference, but to me it was more exciting due to the hardware aspect and how that hardware will affect all games available and games patched. Not saying sony's show was bad (it wasn't at all) it just wasn't exciting - at least for me.

"Players can now hide system apps, pin favorites to the list, and reduce the number of tiles displayed. This update is part of our ongoing effort to make Home more personal, flexible, and responsive to feedback."

This is welcomed, i like a less cluttered home screen.

Not sure what games you're playing to average 5 to 6 hours battery. Mariokart World and Zelda gets 2 and a half hours max.

gold_drake15h ago

not sure if its a successor or an upgrade.

and theres no way u get 5 hours.

1nsomniac9h ago(Edited 9h ago)

Yea don’t think id get 6 hours in sleep mode!

I think there’s a lot of internal software issues with the battery management.

Sleep mode kills the battery almost as quick as playing games does. Playing switch 1 games seems to kill the battery faster than playing switch 2 games for the most part. Even playing a very, very basic switch 1 game seems to drain the battery much faster than I would expect it to.
