Metro: Exodus announced – First official details, releases in 2018

During this year’s Microsoft E3 conference, Microsoft revealed that 4A Games is working on a brand new Metro game called Metro: Exodus. Metro Exodus is an epic, story-driven first person shooter that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created.

This and anthem looked great. Although very underwhelmed ms so far has more weird crap and not gearing towards the action hardcore crowd more.. all Sony has to do at minimum now is show more of days gone, death stranding, etc. and it should win the show

I'm all for innovation, but nobody remembers the unique or indie games, nor are they system sellers like the heavy hitters in the action department. Same as past msoft shows where they try so hard to innovate yet the audience is not there, it's the hardcore that will buy Xbox one X. Anyone can downvote, yet this is how Sony is currently winning, and how the 360 was winning until Sony got the hint

The best-looking games in their press event we're all games I'm already going to buy on PS4 anyway. Don't get me wrong that's great for me because I get to see more footage of games that I'm going to buy but it begs to question exactly what is the purpose of their showing at this event in regards to Microsoft as a publisher?

None of the games shown is convincing me to buy another platform to play games I could already play on platforms I already own.

As far as Microsoft in the Xbox is concerned this was just an absolutely terrible showing to convince anyone to purchase any of those platforms.

Be like "get ready for the best reasons to purchase an Xbox One" (precedes to show multi-platform games)

Wait wait wait. So now it's a problem that Microsoft showed off games that weren't just the same old same old action style games?? Seriously? I don't understand people's logic. Damned if they do and damned if they don't. I enjoyed their lineup. Even the odd games they had seemed like fun. I'm also excited for what PlayStation shows. Also hope that they just barrel into games and cut the theatrics that they do every year.

It has nothing to do with people not being able to be pleased it has everything to do with nothing was actually shown by Microsoft game studios to be exclusive to the Xbox.

Basically the entire press event was literally almost two hours of multi-platform games....

I mean I don't know what to say but congratulations they've sold me on Anthem, Metro, Assassin's Creed.....on PS4.

I mean I don't even understand the point of such a press event when basically every title Shone was multi-platform this gave a very little reason for me to ever actually buy an Xbox in fact I would argue it gave me more reason to Simply keep my PC so why would I buy a system to play a game that I could already play on systems I currently own?

I mean can you even name a single Title by Microsoft game studios that was shown that would convince me to buy an Xbox one that I could only find on Xbox One?

That's like getting angry in saying "that you people cannot be pleased whatever happens " while trying to convince me to switch to a streaming service in which basically all the content can be found on other streaming services I already own.

So if I own Netflix and Amazon Prime does it make sense for me to get a streaming service that simply has all the same content anyway?

Yes, if the Scorpio looks 10% better and faster load times, YET a much smaller online community than the PS4 version, what's the point? MS has put the X1 and X1X in positions that are polar to the gamers they need most. There is NO reason to shell out more money on a X1X and a new TV without literally showing something that is exclusive and hardcore. As you can see almost all comments about best in show are fire Metro, Anthem, SW etc Multiplats that look GREAT regardless which console

I for one enjoyed it, it wasn't boring like their previous e3 conferences. I hope they keep this style except actually contributing more on bringing new big and unique "exclusive games" like horizon. They desperately need that even if their games are in pc. That's what people here expected, huge titles to confront sony ( I didn't expect that because I feel like they are no longer competing with Sony since no true exclusives any more, this e3 is another sign of that, the show didn't feel like it's trying to destroy Sony, it feels like it's promoting the games that will be in the new xbox that's all, until they do some effort this is how I see ms and xbox)

Or at least be innovative with your over used ip like halo or something and do something refreshing like what God of war did. Take some risks ms...

Eh, I thought it was one of the better conferences in recent years.

On one hand, it didn't have much going in the way of exclusives, which stinks for Microsoft.

On the other hand, it was a near constant stream of trailers for games, many of which will be available for everyone to play.

It was a bad conference in terms of trying to sell people an Xbox, but a great conference for gamers in general.
