In comparison to my pc with a 6700k and 980ti, no I am not. I bought my pro for better 1080p gaming. The scorpio is supposed to do 4k with a gpu similar to a 480x. My 980ti blows a 480x out of the water, but my 980ti doesn't do 4k at great framerates. It will if I dial all the settings down, but whats the point in that? I play pc games on a 2k screen and its just fine for me. I also have a gsync monitor that helps smooth it all out. YOU WILL NOT GET 4K WITH CHEAP HARDWARE! The amd processors in the ps4 pro and scorpio both SUCK! The gpus in the ps4 and scorpio both suck in comparison to what is available to the pc. I am however Grateful that I can play some microsoft exclusives on my PC, love the play anywhere program. I have only purchased Gears 4, but its beautiful on pc. Just curb your expectations on what the scorpio is going to be capable of. A 980ti can be clocked to achieve 6.1 TF buy itself without a cpu. http://techreport.com/revie... . That's just it. A 980ti is last gen in terms of video cards and it is still more powerful than Scorpio. It was 675.00 when I bought it. Tried to be reasonable with Xbox fans on what to expect but your blind love for the system will end in disappointment. I bought an Xbox day 1 for 500.00, it's been a huge disappointment. Pretty graphics will not fix the brand overnight, the damage is done.

Here is what you PC guys aren't realizing.

Nobody is excited about the Scorpio because they are comparing it a to PC.

They are excited about the Scorpio because they are comparing it to an Xbox One.

I don't understand why everyone is so obsessed with comparing apples to oranges.

You play games on a PC more powerful than a Scorpio. Congratulations, this product is not being marketed towards you. End of story. Why doesn't anyone realize that?

Excited for Scorpio, The problem will be when its gonna release in NA UK around Nov 2017 it will take F**ing months to come to India... Wish MS had better marketing strategy here in India like Playstation .. Even the Xbox s didnt get launched here... The Pro got released here in feb 2017 and i picked it up... Waiting for Scorpio... The stock Xbox 1 took 8 months to get here :( Also i hope its 399 $ but i guess its gonna be around 499 $.. Anyways we pay more here in India... I bought both PS4 (when launched) and Pro for 620 $ each here.. when its 399 $ in NA :(

Also i could easily get the Scorpio from US or Dubai which will be much cheaper for me but again NO WARRANTY clause :( :(

Gettin Scorpio day 1. I have a legit question, are the games gonna have better graphics on 1080p displays or is this console just gonna have 4K resolution, which I don't care at all about. I have an Xbox 1 already, I'm upgrading regardless. All this talk about power, I hope it's not for just useless 4K to me it's useless. I want way better graphics (graphics whore). An honest question.

It's up to third-parties to decide that, actually. It's illogical to think that future games won't be 1080p30fps at the least and 60fps depending on whatever decision-making process they are going with (parity, etc.).

They've confirmed that at least Xbox Play Anywhere titles will have better graphics on 1080p displays. It's up to 3rd party to decide whether they want to use the extra bandwidth for better graphics at 1080p.

And when you watch the final video with the Asian women there is scene with what looks like grey shag carpet. if you look in the right side of that scene there is a small metal object with the SN: X10S 100-3717. Could that be a clue to the naming of Scorpio? X10S? I am going to download the video and explode that section of the video with device and see what those other symbols on the device are.

The advertisement design is extremely good. Yes, their staff did a great job with the Microsoft Scorpio advertisement.

Yes, we have power now but WHERE ARE THE GAMES?

The difference between Sony and Microsoft is how Sony handles better their exclusives. While Microsoft hires Halo factories like 343i, Sony invests in different brands. One of those result is the complete success of an emerging franchise such as Horizon Zero Down.

Power is important but not a winning decisive coin in the VIDEO GAME console market. People want to see exclusives, they want to see what Scorpio can do with all of this power. Why should I venture myself into better hardware if there are no good library backing up that power. How you tell users to get a second console of the same brand if their game library has no strength to persuade them.

Microsoft made many mistakes with the XBONE, now they are trying to sell power but with one problem, a short library of exclusive titles.

Microsoft try to understand this: a great machine is composed of two fundamental columns. Those columns are hardware and quality and diversity on exclusive licenses or exclusive games. If Microsoft invests in diverse studios instead of being a one brand Halo machine I'm sure many Sony users will make space for the Scorpio in their houses.
