Isn’t this is how most PC users feel? That is why they have their head far up a motherboards socket, they fear the world and escape to 0’s and 1’s; thank god for nerds who fear outside or we wouldn’t have games /s
The biggest news should be him talking about wanting to make a more traditional jrpg. I'd love to see this, prefer it as well
I really liked the ending of Red Dead Redemption. The ending can be interpreted in two ways, depending on how the player played as John. Either John was a redeemed man, who was used and betrayed by the government, or outlaw that never broke free from his violent nature (if the player goes around murdering).
One of the best endings in a video game imo. Made it so much better and totally made the story far more gripping.
It was genius the best ending to any video game the fact that they let you exact revenge on Edgar Ross through marstons son was just epic and so damn satisfying.
The quiet life you live in the end was also really well made and got most people attached to John, he was trying to go straight but those bastards couldn't leave him be...
I didn't like it because those government agents couldn't be trusted and seemed like they wanted to tie up loose ends, like sending John to hunt down his former gang mates, so how did he know 100% that the government agents would leave his family alone for good. Who's to say they wouldn't have killed them after (I know they didn't in the end) to tie up loose ends and end everything they did like kidnapping them, or as they put it "keeping an eye on them".
They should have done a DLC expansion telling an alternate ending like Undead Nightmares alternate story where Abbie and Jack are killed by the agents and in revenge he enlists everyone he's met and helped to help him kill them both
The ending was fantastic especially the final confrontation between Jack and Edgar. I'm so glad Rockstar decided to keep John's fate as it was it made the ending way more emotional to me as someone who got deeply attached to John as a character.
