Darkseid is actually an OP character. Heres my tips if it helps anyone
His omega beam is great for zoning. If the player ducks alot to avoid it, simply jump and meter burn the omega beam, they wont be able to dodge it but block. His teleport is quite handy to get out the way of those deadshot spammers. My tip for it with great follow up is to jump, teleport, kick them with the X button and follow up with death stomp, does great damage but dont use it a lot cause if they block it they can punish you for it. Also head ober to youtube and mimic players style to get help and tips

Darkseid is a great character and can be perceived as being OP. But I main him (Yes I'm probably biased then) but I have lost to very good flash's, scarecrows, and green lanters. If you can get up on him and not let up, then he struggles a lot.

Those guys ive beaten. Its black canery i have trouble with. The more you play you'll know which character will use what and whats coming

gangsta_red2557d ago (Edited 2557d ago )

Darkseid, just like part one's DLC characters (batgirl, martian) is very OP. His damage output is extremely high and he has some fast normals.

Ill never understand the need for him to not only have a teleport but omega beams in the air??

He's one of the only characters i have trouble with consistently.

Yeah if you meter burn that omega beam its seriously puts the players at a disadvantage situation. His combos is quite easy to master. What i do is i press back square, up x meter burn, once then bounce i do that transition move that smacks them to the back of the screen and come flying back to you, then triangle triangle, grapple. That should give you a decent damage

Great month, looking forward to Hot Wheels, I really love some good old arcade racing

darthv72605d ago

Heck yeah... love me some hot wheels

CobraKai605d ago

It’s fantastic. I paid full price and it’s worth it

LG_Fox_Brazil605d ago

Of course, these subscriptions cost money, you know?

MrVux000605d ago

Something inherently wrong with that?

Crows90604d ago (Edited 604d ago )

Yeah. Ps plus gives you value for your money. Unlike a different subscription that just takes your money. Hence why Sony where the first at every turn to give what players want or appear to be interested in. Free monthly games...check. subscription service with games ...check. And as always Microsoft goes in to do the same but constantly fails at giving good value. Games with gold has sucked the majority of it's existence. Gamepass is more expensive than ps plus extra and it doesn't give you online or monthly games. Ultimate is the most expensive service and yet it has less high rated games on its service than ps extra.

So yes. We should always judge these services for the value they give.

Hopefully they have God of War Ragnarok, Modern Warfare 2 Remake and Last of Us Remake for December 2022. This selection is down right depressing 😞

FinalFantasyFanatic605d ago

Yeah, nah, they're not going to give us Ragnarok when it's practically just come out, they know they can still make alot of money off that one for another 6 or so months, probably the same with the Last of Us Remake.

Crows90604d ago (Edited 604d ago )

Oh so you want all of the games for pennies. You think that would help the devs much? Gaming isn't a charity business.

another good line-up. Hot Wheels looks interesting. Never played it.
Still hooked in Need for Speed Heat (this month's PS Plus free game)

darthv72605d ago

This just reminded me to nab NFS before it was yanked. Thanks for that.

lucian229605d ago

Looks like another good month. Really was happy with gran blue fantasy last in the current month.

MIDGETonSTILTS17605d ago

I’m so glad I didn’t buy this on sale, albeit now I have to get the dlc

CobraKai605d ago (Edited 605d ago )

I didn’t know Superhot was a non-vr game too.

Mr Logic605d ago

For those that read this, keep in mind that Superhot was a flat game that was later made into VR. It wasn't a VR game that was ported for more sales. Both are worth playing as the levels and scenarios are different in both versions.

The article states Tekken 7 might be the best fighter currently available on Xbox, but leaves out important information that it never takes advantage of the Xbox hardware. It never got any kind of patch/boost/upgrade for the more powerful Xbox consoles, meaning it still runs at 720p I believe, resulting in a very blurry look.

Truly wish more devs would respect their products and customers enough to address issues such as these.
