Nintendo and SNK have announced that ACA NeoGeo version of The King of Fighters '99 will be available on Nintendo Switch from May 25 on the eShop downloadable at a price of £6.29.
DSOGaming writes: "Gui Santos has made Mortal Kombat Project 4.1 Remastered and The King of Fighters Zillion MIX available for download."
Nintendo Life: The King of Fighters is a series that's long been a staple of the Neo Geo platform. But with a few new twists and added bells and whistles, the developers have kicked things up a notch. While not as revered as its predecessor, considered by many to be the pinnacle of the series, King of Fighters '99 still adds enough new stuff to make it worth a spin. And now you can take it for a spin on Nintendo's Wii Virtual Console; it's actually not too shabby, even over 14 years since its original release.
Nickerous writes, "Originally released in 1999, this is the 6th installment in the King of Fighters series. This time, there is a new protagonist with an all-new story. Instead of the previous 3-member team format, now teams have 4 members, where 3 members actually fight and 1 member is designated as a “Striker”."
the dreamcast version of 99 is the best, sadly that version is lost with the sega machine.
My favorite KOF, hopefully one day they will rerelease the D.C. Version
Loving these SNK games as I missed out on most of them. Been playing a lot of Garou lately. Might buy this one too.
