CGM had a chat with Jason Kirby of LiquidSky, the new player in the cloud gaming market, about their offerings, how it works, and where it will go.
Cloud gaming is definitely the future, no matter what people think of it. It is the perfect solution for casual gamers who don’t want to invest money into rigs that they will use rarely. With cloud gaming, we are able to enjoy the latest titles on some PC far-far away and pay a small fee for renting it. At least that’s how it started out, as the market started to be more competitive things started to change.
"Cloud gaming is definitely the future, no matter what people think of it."
Jesus. You outright deflate any value of your article in the first phrase. LOL
You clearly are a moron to making absolute statements like that. Take the "opinion" out of your "opinion piece", as you try to pass your "opinion" (a pathetically stupid one at that), as fact. Get lost.
A recent update from LiquidSky about the user interface, menu, and log-in screen.
EB: What would you say if I told you that you could stream any PC game you own at its highest settings from nearly any device with a screen and an internet connection? Sounds like virtual heaven on Earth to me.
I don't want to stream games to my machine, I thought it was pretty clear that people don't want this.
Doesn't sound like heaven. Sounds like latency hell. And even though it is a bit different approach than OnLive and Gaikai, I don't see it as a platform for games.
Interesting read and kind of glad to see this concept hasn't entirely died out. Perhaps one day it will be a more competitively priced option for gaming.
