Finally someone who feels just like I do about BO3. I hate the MP but the zombie modes are awesome. The MP is really bad and people do nothing but jump all day. It's also really hard knowing where a person is, the guns are terrible, the maps are bad and it's hard to kill more than 2 people in a row.

B3NB4IL2533d ago

Yes! I'm not alone! It's just not right, it's a huge mess! They better stick to reality in terms of combat for WWII!

StormLegend2533d ago

Agreed! it's garbage IMO I never liked treyarch MP games. (IMO) AW, MW and even IW did it better. This made me realize that the Warfare series is what I like most, but the zombies from treyarch is awesome.

FITgamer2533d ago

TBH I think out of the 3 games they've done with boost jumping BO3 did it best. It really wasn't that bad.
I personally was a beast at the game.

The only thing I really didn't like were specialist abilities, the ridiculous score streaks, scrubby perks and attachments.

B3NB4IL2533d ago

I totally agree, while I'm not a fan of the jumping, it was done well, I was able to mange it fine. but the fast running, specialist perks, freaking boxing gloves, and all that....nah. Just nah.

vickers5002533d ago

" The MP is really bad"

No. It's actually some of the best mp the series has had in a long time. I've played them all, cept Ghosts (played a beta or something of ghosts though) and Black Ops 3 was the first CoD game I prestiged in and kept on playing. I prestiged once in Black Ops 1 and stopped playing after hitting 20 something.

Blops 3 beats Infinite Warfare, Advanced Warfare, probably ghosts, Black Ops 2, Modern Warfare 3, even the remastered version of Call of Duty 4, which for some reason does not feel at all like CoD4 anymore and somehow feels much worse (I don't remember the connections sucking that hard on cod4 last gen, or there being as many campers back then as there are now).

The guns are great, as well as most of the maps. And one thing in particular that Blops 3 excels at over every other cod, it actually has freaking color. I love the vibrant and colorful maps, not JUST because of that, they have good map design too, but the color adds a lot to the experience and enjoyment.

As I've said, I've played every other cod cept ghosts, but Black Ops 3 is the first game I've ever bought the season pass for (bought the digital version of the game + season pass for 60 bucks, even though I already had a 15 dollar copy I bought from gamefly). It's the first cod in a long time that I can proudly admit to enjoying, because it's a genuinely good CoD game, both in MP and campaign, while the campaign is no bioshock, I still enjoyed it.

You may not be good enough to get used to knowing where people are or good enough to navigate the maps efficiently, but that's more of a you problem than a fault of the game. It's just a bit more of a high maintenance CoD than you're probably able to get used to, but that doesn't mean it's bad. I feel like the immature and stupid "git gud" phrase applies here.

Take away wall running, boosting, jumping, abilities, whatever, and you just have the same twitch gameplay, without the skill required in movement. Which is fine, but CoD does not need to stick to either or, it can and SHOULD be both.

One team can do the wall runner cods, and one team can go back to the original done-to-death (imo) formula.

My prediction is that when people get their hands on the ww2 cod, they're going to hate it. They won't know why, they'll blame it on sledgehammer being a shitty dev, but in reality, they'll probably just be trying to live out a nostalgia fantasy, trying to recapture the feelings they had back when the REAL infinity ward made cod games.

I mean lets be honest here, you know what you're going to get from ww2, you're going to get a shitty cod game from a shitty cod developer, except it's going to have less gameplay features/variety. If it was treyarch, then there might be a reason to get excited, but this is sledgehammer we're talking about, they've never made a "good" mp cod game. Advanced Warfare was okay, not good though.

People will ultimately be disappointed in the ww2 cod, mark my words.

vickers5002533d ago (Edited 2533d ago )

Disagree. Other than that boat one, the maps in Blops 2 were pretty mediocre (imo).

DaGR8JIBRALTAR2533d ago

Doesn't beat Blops 2 my friend or one, but 3 is a good game tho.

B3NB4IL2532d ago

I respect your comment, very good points! I do know that it's my own fault for being terrible at it, but at the same time it feels too...well what I said. It's a mess for me.

I respect Call of Duty for trying new things, and I do think that the jump boosting was done fairly well in terms of ease of use, but everything else was just eh. I would like to see more team based gameplay as CoD always feels like it's just a blitz to the win.

I do hope WWII is going to be good, and I do think that Treyarch are great, I guess time will tell!

I don't think it's great but I don't think Infinite Warfare is good either. The last Call of Duty game I enjoyed to any real degree was Black Ops 2, and perhaps Ghosts (even though Ghosts as a whole wasn't great).

My favourite Call of Duty game right now is Titanfall 2.

B3NB4IL2532d ago

The only reason I enjoyed Ghosts was literally just for the Gun Game

NotanotherReboot2533d ago

Ever since I bought Black Ops2 a couple weeks ago, I haven't touched Black ops 3. SO much garbage in the mp: from the cancerous melee weapons, those annoying AF specialist abilities (looking at you ripper and flame thrower) and the whole jumping about shit too

B3NB4IL2532d ago

I have Black Ops 1 on backwards compatibility, kind of want to delve back into it, but the Zombies in BO3 is wonderful.

Next_gen_20152533d ago

They took it too far with the specialists. The specialists in Bo3 are more powerful than the killstreaks XD

B3NB4IL2532d ago

The only specialist I enjoy is Rouge, and using the see through walls perk. Otherwise every other one is stupid. :D

TheGamez1002533d ago (Edited 2533d ago )

Multiplayer is fun and I loved it for a few months. Then I got sick of the boosts and specialists and then theres the supply drops that ruined it for me. Get rid of those then it'd be the best cod multplayer I've ever played.

Too bad God of War isn't on PSNow. It would've slaughtered the Avengers and Aloy!!

roadkillers1037d ago

Yea, I can't find any. Not even the digital versions, Facebook has them going $400 over retail.

poppatron1037d ago

I need to cancel my subscription, there’s rarely anything I like that I don’t already have

Stanjara1037d ago

So Avengers are fine? I thought that the game is dying.

Terrible month. Detroit and Black Ops 3 (available for a limited time) are already in the PS Plus Collection, and Detroit was also a free game on PS Plus years ago. WWE 2K Battlegrounds is terrible. Only the smaller games that were added are good additions.

PS Plus is way better than PS Now right now (quality > quantity) and has been good for a long time, and great since the PS5 released. I was tempted to subscribe to PS Now over the holidays but I just didn't trust in the quality of the service. They need to up their game because the quality of the service is deteriorating. I'm starting to wonder if they're going to ditch PS Now as we know it and basically add it as an extra tier to PS Plus because that's what they've been prioritizing.

-Ghost1177d ago (Edited 1177d ago )

Not sure why WWE 2K Battlegrounds was a highlight for this month. I browsed the games in December and it was there/played it.

SamPao1177d ago

Darksiders genesis. Thats a pretty neat addition

gamer78041177d ago (Edited 1177d ago )

The game was a massive disappointment, even playing with a friend it was terrible. But we finished it til the end. The game is so buggy and just not much fun a lot of times.

iplay1up21177d ago

Now, is not nearly as good as Game Pass, but $60 for a year? Well worth it!

gamer78041177d ago

Detroit become human is fantastic. One of the best this gen

oakshin1177d ago

Last time blop 3 was on here it came with the dlc

RgR1177d ago

Great for me.

I was looking to play darksiders genesis...it's the last one I need to play. And little nightmares is another one I wanted to try.

The rest I've already played or am not interested. Overall I think they're great additions.

iplay1up21177d ago (Edited 1177d ago )

I was disappointed with Darksiders 3. I played for a couple of hours, and deleted it. That is just me though, a lot of people liked it. Also the price is right. Hope you do like it!😁

RgR1177d ago

Yea I'm with you there. The beginning and gameplay feels so different but after a certain point I feel like it got much better.

I played it in classic mode so it would be more similar to other darksiders but man did I die a lot in the beginning due to learning how to play. Came into it fresh from darksiders 2.

SamPao1177d ago

Yeah, I am still playing frostpunk from last month...
Heard good things about little nightmares
