New Assassin's Creed Game Confirmed For E3 With A New Image

I've only ever played the first game and Unity. I was expecting Unity to be a big step up, but it was quite a disappointment. Maybe this game can be that step up.

I played the first 2 and I got Black Flag for free almost a year ago, but still haven't got around to playing it.

Its not bad but there is some definite laziness in the world building. For example the southern tip of Florida is a pile of rocks, which was all know is not true.

i agree lol,the game had the best stealth in the series,there was way more interior exploration,and the game made it more difficult for you against multiple enemies,you can't just spam counter attack.
The state it was in at launch was unacceptable tho,it ran at like 20 fps,and devs had the nerve to say the frame rate was more cinematic.A lot of the hate came from that and it's understandable.But play it now or even better on pc at 60fps,and the game shines imo.

Yeah they have a marketing deal for "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" on the Scorpio, which makes perfect sense since the first game was a huge hit. The game will probably look incredible on the Scorpio. MS isn't even thinking about AC. Didn't Sony have the marketing right for AC: Black Flag when the PS4 launched? If Microsoft is smart, they will nab the marketing rights for the next game from Rockstar Games after RDR2.

Black Flag might be the best pirate game ever

just to echo relientk77 - AC II/Brotherhood are good (I would add in Revelations because it's part of that series of AC titles, and I enjoyed it). Black Flag, and Syndicate are also very good. Unity does have its moment (and I know you've played it), but they really tried doing too much in that one - integrating co-op, but not having it correlate to the rest of the game whatsoever... forcing the use of social media/peripheral apps to obtain items in game that somehow counted towards 100% completion (they did remove that requirement later on, though)... too many collectibles/side missions.

they went back to basics with Syndicate (made it 100% single player, lessened the collectibles, and eliminated any peripheral app nonsense), and it looks like they're continuing that with this new one.

Ubisoft, this is your chance to "MAKE HISTORY" please don't disappoint...

I really hope Ubisoft has done heir homework, ditched the same old combat/fighting system, and has come up with something fresh, fun, and brutal. I also hope they've taken note from other open world games, like HZD, TW3.

We shall see at E3.

If they expect me to buy this game it needs to come to Switch. Won't touch it on my PS4 or XBoxOne, but would gladly check it out on Switch. Developers need to learn this lesson; if you want your games to sell put them on the Switch.
