NBA Playgrounds Review: A basketball game that fails to rival NBA Jam [Windows Central]

Windows Central: Given the lack of new NBA Jam games lately, a new arcade-style basketball game should be cause for celebration. NBA Playgrounds hopes to take up that mantle, providing arcade thrills and goofy players. But this one unfortunately misses its mark.

Ok so in 2017 how does it fair on its own merits rather than going in with a bias?

Everyone has their own biases. A reviewer knowing about NBA Jam and hoping that similar games will be as good as Jam is not a strange bias. Every genre has standards, and games in that genre will be expected to meet those standards.

I think the guy is high because this is the closet game to nba jam the only thing that is missing is BOOOM SHAKALAKA

It is ok...I had a little higher hopes for this game but after playing it, it is sort of bland.
