BLG writes: "The world’s favorite plumber is also a huge sports fan. When he’s not busy stomping goombas, you can find Mario hitting the links, swinging his tennis racket, or playing some street soccer with his pals. Mario sports games have a long history, dating all the way back to the original NES. Some have been home runs. Others were a swing and a miss."
The ‘Mario Sports’ trademark has been registered by Nintendo for Europe and Australia. The two listings for the Mario Sports trademarks in Europe and Austraila were both registered on May 20, 2020. They will expire 10 years after their registered dates, so in May of 2030. Both of the registered trademarks refer to “Mario Sports”.
