The new Screenshots looks very good. And the innovations are nice. I think Dynasty Warriors 9 will be better than Dynasty Warriors 7 and Dynasty Warriors 8. All these new innovations are very nice.

I been looking for some new changes in the game play and so far this is easily looking to be a Day 1 buy for me as well. I don't have a mindless game that I play so this will be nice depending on when it comes out since it is only 40% done.

Screens look nice but shoehorning in open world when open world games have become so dull. Eh, still not sold on this one. Hopefully, FE Warriors will be more traditional.

Also the Dynasty Warriors series is actually always been very open so I don't really see any shoehorning, this just sounds like the natural progression of the series.

You're right it doesnt.But the devs felt like The game was getting stale of the old formula so they're switching it up hence the open world.

I don't know how they are going to do it in Dynasty Warriors but I think an Open world is perfect for this title. It is funny the one thing that bothered me about Nioh is that it is mission based and not an open world. It is a big problem or even a problem but leaving the world to go into a UI to pick missions bring me out of the immersion, but like I said not really a problem.

I've been playing the Dynasty Warriors franchise for years but I have given up hope. It has always been in the stone ages with gameplay and graphics.For Honor is what Dynasty warriors always should have been.I bet these "gameplay innovations" will be trivial.

Same man. I've been playing them since i was a teenager. Used to buy them every year on my birthday but each iteration had minor differences. So inevitably i lost interest. And in this day and age where games are plentiful Dynasty warriors will only survive because of the core fans. I'm actually surprised it is still going.

I Do Not want Dynasty Warriors to be like For Honor. I do wish for a coop mode in DW 9 because that would be pretty darn cool. The whole point to Dynasty Warriors is to hack n slash your way to the top. I want to find cool new armor and new weapons for the characters I like to play with. I never once was like, I hope DW have the best graphics and I hope the game play changes so it isn't like Dynasty Warriors... Of course, this game isn't for everyone but you have to admit when a franchise has 9+ games out with a lot of spins offs as well you have to admit it is doing SOMETHING right. Having an open world will 100% change how things are done in the game but the core concept of the game will still be there. If you didn't like Dynasty Warriors 3 than you probably won't like this one either.

I think you're probably right. It's not going to be as different as they're making it out to be. It seems to me that this so-called open world is basically just a dozen or so stages merged into one. It'll be as empty as those stages, only much bigger. Open worlds aren't really these guys' bread and butter.

I will say Lu Bu is one of the best characters in gaming but he gets no love unless you play these games. I remember my first time going up against him (not knowing who he really is). A cut scene happened and two infantry guys said, its its Lu Bu! I am like this is Dynasty warrior it is a hack n slash game, I can take him. At this time your character isn't really leveled up at all and Lu Bu just laughed at me. He did maybe a 10 hit combo on me and I was like yep time to run away and he caught up to me and finished me off.

I always look forward to the battle of Hu Lao Gate just for the part where Lu Bu comes out slaughtering everybody. Noooo it's Lu Buuu!!

if you notice it looks like some groups of enemies actually stand in formation like real ancient Chinese battles should be. That's a plus
