Yoji Shinkawa created artwork for Call of Duty Zombies Chronicles

No, this isn’t Metal Gear artwork, nor is it concept art for Death Stranding. But if it look like it could be, that’s because it was drawn by Yoji Shinkawa, who’s done concept art for Metal Gear games since 1997 (and who’s now at the end Kojima Productions studio as we know). The artwork below is for Call of Duty Zombies Chronicles, the latest expansion to the hugely popular FPS Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Shinkawa made some character art as well as a dynamic PlayStation 4 theme for the title.

Imagine a Cod game from Kojima productions in a WW2 or WW1 era. I think it would be sick. Also Yoji Shinkawa is extremely talented, his drawings are incredible.

What the hell happen to that metal gear solid Survivor game that was shown like a year ago?

Lol

DeathtoOtakuDJ2953d ago

It was last seen at one of those CON-events. I forget which one...
I think it might be making an appearance at the Konami booth again, at this year's E3.

Kaneki-Ken2953d ago

Probably delay to make changes after every one was making fun of Konami and Survivor rip off

Nyxus2952d ago

It was last shown on TGS. Probably at this E3 again.

AnotherProGamer2953d ago

Death stranding is somewhat WW2 era since there are skeleton WW2 soliders

never4get2952d ago

Yoji responsible for Metal Gear Zombie?

Nyxus2952d ago

You mean Metal Gear Survive? Kojima and Shinkawa had nothing to do with that: http://www.metalgearinforme...

Yoji making a game is like OMG

F0XHOUND2952d ago

I'm not sure any other game illustrator can claim a 1st glance impression that makes people instantly know its his artwork, without question. Truly one of the best in the industry!

Nyxus2952d ago

I know right! I got several Metal Gear art books, they're great!

EazyC2952d ago

I wish I could draw like that... Actually, I just wish I could draw! This guy's work is phenomenal, that waterink style is just too cool. Such talent!

XDefiant and former CoD lead quits the games industry after Ubisoft killed their shooter

Mark Rubin, the lead designer of Ubisoft’s now-dead free-to-play shooter XDefiant, has left the games industry following his project’s death.

Going to ubisoft was your mistake

TheColbertinator16h ago

So much wrong with Xdefiant. At one point they started using the worst ideas for their game and FPS fans saw it in the previews.

SpacedDuck16h ago

No offense but if Xdefiant represents your best the industry is better off for it.

"We had other issues though as well that we tried to be transparent about. For one we had crippling tech debt using an engine that wasn’t designed for what we were doing...Another issue we had was having the right resources to make content for the game."

Ubi set them up for failure out of the gate. And he says they had stuff in the pipes that should have been at launch means Ubi rushed it out and the devs didn't.

The creator of Balatro says microtransactions "makes me want to put my computer in the dishwasher."

Localthunk: "The honest reason I don't have microtransactions/season pass/ads/100 DLCs/etc in Balatro isn't just about the ethics of those practices but because when I play other games that have those things it makes me want to put my computer in the dishwasher and set it to pots & pans."
