I'd hope to see a new metroid, fzero and star fox game announced for switch. I'd expect them to talk about their paid multiplayer service and other new features rolling out for the switch in the near future.

Animal Crossing please, Star Fox and dear god keep him in a ship, ZERO motion controls please, Metroid Prime, just an FPS, ZERO FEDERATION FORCE PLEASE, Top down Zelda, Mario RPG either Paper or Super Star Bros.

Thats about it.

Pokemon is a must though, even if they have to port it from 3DS, even if they have to just show a damn trailer...THEY MUST have a Pokemon presence to show Switch is getting 100% of their focus and not simply "some"

I doubt we'll get Paper Mario, since it came out for Wii U last year. A Mario RPG seems to be a reality, but from Ubisoft as that Mario x Rabbids crossover . . . who knows how that will be.

Star Fox is pretty unlikely unless they just rerelease Star Fox Zero without the wonky controls and with multiplayer.

Top down Zelda for 3DS wouldn't surprise me, as it's been 4 years since A Link Between Worlds. However I'd be (pleasantly) surprised to see it announced for Switch.

I've got my fingers crossed for Animal Crossing. It's been five years since New Leaf and they completely skipped Wii U. It wouldn't surprise me if they were working on one for Wii U, but moved it to Switch. If that's the case I could totally see it being announced.

Metroid is certainly a possibility. That may be what Retro Studios is working on and their project should be getting announced before too long. However I'm not sure how it'd be seeing as most of the Prime staff have left.

Next Level Games was working on a project for Wii U for years. Assuming it wasn't entirely scrapped we may see it on Switch. They wanted to work on Metroid, so it could be that (though it likely wouldn't be first person). Other than that maybe Mario Strikers, Punch Out, Luigi's Mansion (which would be my guess), or the revival of a different Nintendo franchise.

Other than that I don't think F-Zero is too far fetched. I'd never expect it, but Nintendo did approach Criterion about making one for Wii U, so it's clearly on their minds that people want it. I'd be up for a F-Zero made by Monster Games.

EDIT: I do think the rumors of Pokemon are true. If they are and they get it out in the Switch's first year, it may very well be the smartest move Nintendo's made in years.

Well with it being outsourced, you never know.

"I've got my fingers crossed for Animal Crossing. It's been five years since New Leaf and they completely skipped Wii U"

Agreed.

Agreed and Agreed.

Even if they have to PORT a 3DS Pokemon, they need to make that happen! They need to end E3 with a Pokemon coming in the Fall for Switch, Pokemon coming next year for Switch.

Nothing is stopping them from making that happen, especially porting those 3DS Pokemon games.

I'm hoping to see a lot of new and exciting titles announced for Switch.

But really I want to see a new Metroid announced. A 2D.5 Metroid in the same way like Shadow Complex and the new Strider released a while back.

I also want to see a ton of 3rd party Japanese devs announce a handful of JRPG's in the same way the 3DS got that support. Maybe a new Switch version of Namco X Capcom would be tight.

Nintendo has been teasing Earthbound for a while now and I would like to see a new Earthbound/Mother announced for the Switch.

I expect to see more details, gameplay for Mario Odessey, the new Xenoblade game and the new Fire Emblem game.

I would love to see a return of a console platformer or an open world style (like BOTW) Kid Icarus game.

And last but not least, Ice Climbers vs. Balloon Fight HD!

Metroid
Animal Crossing
Pokemon Stars
Details regarding Online Service
Smash Bros for Switch
Xenoblade chronicles 2 (assuming they plan to stay on target for 2017 release)
Mario & Rabbids crossover
Mario Odyssey
Fire Emblem 2018 tease
Virtual Console (HURRY UP NINTENDO)

A combination of things I hope/expect to see. There'll probably be some reveals too for 2018 games.

Yes to all.

I want Gamecube games on VC!

I really want to see what Next Level Games is working on. They've made some fantastic games in the past. My guess would be Luigi's Mansion or a Nintendo IP they haven't touched before, but I'm really hoping for a new Mario Strikers.

I'd add Pikmin 4 on there as an 'expected' title.

Also, Miyamoto said years ago that he's working on a new character . . . If that means a new IP I really hope that sees the light of day here before too long.
