He was only working with them on nier:automata and now that the game is finished, he's gonna go back to square enix(he works for them)

I remember hearing that he moved to another city (where P* is located)just to work on this game.... This guy loves his work I respect that

Just so you understand Yoko Taro does not work for Platinum games, he collaborated on Nier: Automata. Now on to other projects.

I do know that, but the sad part is that there is an unknown time gap between when he will make his next game. I am highly anticipating whatever he makes next for PC/consoles. Even before announcement one of my most anticipated games is going to be one that he'll be making in the future, whenever it happens.

I agree with you @Movefasta1993 Hideki Kamiya makes games with better core gameplay but Yoko Taro makes games with better story, as I prefer gameplay I'm more of a Kamiya fan but if Taro does another collaboration with Platinum I'm preordering that shit day 1

Kamiya is overrated for me, I hate everything he did out of Capcom including Bayonetta. Which makes me suspect that his best came from the people who worked with him on Capcom

Currently playing through Nier Automata right now and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. Yoko Taro and Platinum Games did a fantastic job on it. They mesh incredible well. I hope they can work together on future projects.

I'm just worried that unless Taro does another collaboration he will just continue to make Mobile games or another console game that's a technical and mechanical nightmare like Drakengard 3
