seems like too much trouble, just go with external and maybe an ssd for internal if you need to shave a few seconds off loading. Only the ps4 pro uses sata 3 as far as i know though, so I wouldnt bother on the og or slim. Even on the pro, there were some tests done and ssd only seemed to speed things up very little.
