NieR: Automata review - ChristCenteredGamer

NieR: Automata is the sequel to 2010’s Nier which is part of the Drakengard series. The story in this title is quite intriguing and the characters are well developed and likable. While there's plenty of action in this game, there's a lot of mysteries to solve within it as well. Your job is to find out the source of the alien robots and why they have taken on a life of their own. Not all of the robots are hostile either - should you wipe them all out or let the peaceful ones survive? The choice is yours.

Outstanding game, I hope they make another one!

What exactly is Christ centered about this site? The review makes it clear a Christian should avoid the game but you still give it a 9/10, I'm not attacking you I just don't get it.

We rate games on how they are as well as how appropriate they are. The two scores are separate.

Muadiib2985d ago

I'm not sure separating the scores is the best idea, but I guess I appreciate someone is highlighting the things you are. I believe there's a Christian movie reviewing site that does just that, maybe you could have their kind of success if you emphasized the Christian perspective on VG's far more.

You could add more salt and light without feeling the slightest bit apologetic. Going forward I believe wholesome entertainment for the whole family is where the peoples interest is headed and so those that help people to find that kind of content will in turn find great success.

I find the different scores laughable! A morality score, as if those who are religious only have some kind of moral compass.

im not sure if they "saved" it, but Taro definitely shook things up with the story telling that hes so infamous for.

especially in times when free to play model was at its peak in gaming.

I never really felt that way, but I really enjoyed NieR: Automata, I made sure to get all the endings.

I’m not sure about that but it was good to have and hope we get more games from Yoko Taro that aren’t mobile
