Um that would be great. Haven't had a Harry Potter game in awhile. The Lego Harry Potter games were fun

PlayableGamez-3000d ago

Yeah the last couple of harry potter games were dude bro shooters...

About time

You know how good an open world game set in Hogwarts could be. Not just the many levels and rooms of Hogwarts it's self but also the surrounding area.

I mean a small hub like Diagon Alley could be the start point where you basically create your character and the choices you make here would at least give you a hint to what will put you in one of the four houses when you visit the sorting hat.

Choose your clothing style, wand, traits etc

I like this. I'd add to it have it take place maybe ten years after the end of the novels that way it's an open for a new story, you won't have to directly deal with any characters (or their kids) from the books except mentions of Hermione as the Minister or Neville as a Professor but everyone else is basically lore and you can focus on new characters.

Yeah I was thinking the same. I'd rather see how the legend of Harry Potter has grown after the Battle at Hogwarts

They'd have to set it after Harry's son graduates from the school because you don't want the plot to be distracted by the son of Harry Potter or even the children of other characters.

Ape some social elements from Persona, and I'd buy that.

WB should contact Rockstar,

"You're a Wizard Bully"

I'm surprised something like this wasn't done sooner. Hopefully this rumour is true.

I wouldnt mind proper book games adding in more stuff from the books not in the movies but keep the movie likeness so in other words base the games on the books but look like the movies the best of both worlds

Those Harry Potter games back in the day were terrible. So much potential wasted

Movefasta19933000d ago

They are horrible now but back then the the first three movie games were awesome . Goblet of fire was decent but 5 and up were trash, and they turned 6 and 7 to a cover shooter:/

Summons753000d ago

Chamber of Secrets was the best. I also was deeply obsessed with the Quidditch World Cup game.

Imalwaysright3000d ago

The 1st one for the PS1 imo was a solid game.

Yes it was! Sneaking about.

Don't forget they've put a lot of these on gamepass and ps plus so you can add that money to it. Good to see Sega going strong

Playdead co-founder slammed with lawsuit as bitter row with co-founder escalates

Playdead co-founder Dino Patti is allegedly being sued by his former studio and business partner.
Patti was threatened with a lawsuit earlier this year after he posted a now-deleted LinkedIn post that shared an "unauthorized" picture of co-founder Arnt Jensen and discussed some of Limbo's development. Patti said Jensen demanded a little over $73,000 in "suitable compensation and reimbursement," adding that he had "repeatedly" had such letters over the last nine years.
